I chose this story because i watch the scene in Tudors were Prince Philip come to England and pay court to Princess Mary, unfortunately this never happened at all because her father doesn't want an alliances to Germany and he wanted to divorce Anne of Cleves

If they do get married he still have a connection to Germany so he never let Philip to succeed his marriage to a princess.

This prince is did actually exist but he is not Philip of Bavaria he is Philip, Duke of Palatinate- Neuburg and his brother named is Otto Henry in real life he did ask Princess Mary's hand in marriage he did actually kissed her out of the court and he is also related to Anne of Cleves he is also part if Schmalkaldic league a defensive alliances of Lutheran Princes.

Legend says that he is not a Lutheran but a catholic i am not sure if that was true if he is? then why would King Henry wouldn't let him marry his daughter since Princess Mary is devoted to someone who is catholic well whatever it is even though he is a Lutheran he did actually make a princess fall for him even though Mary hated protestants i don't know if she only fell in love with him by his looks? or the way how he behave and show her a good affection?but either way i have never seen him very selfish and mean like her father the prince love her for who she is he doesn't care if she is a bastard in his opinion she is a true princess.

In my personal opinion they should've been married since princess didn't have a happy marriage to Philip of Spain and also if she married him i guess her hatred towards protestant will stop she wouldn't get a nicknamed "Bloody Mary." and everyone will loved her.
