Love is a sacred gift,
Most don't give themselves.
They give the gift to others,
Who don't need it as much.
Love doesn't ask for much in return,
Except for itself,
For she who gives it,
Needs it most.
Love is sacred,
Yet given to those who never give back.
Love yourself first,
For you will be sure to get it back.
I believe love is a give-some take-some relationship. Often I see hopeless romantics give their heart to those who will never give love back.
