"Hey, Kate?"

"Hmm?" I said. He was asking an awful lot of questions today.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Caitlyn POV

What?! Of course I would want to be his girlfriend, but what if he found out about me and turned me into the police?! There was a lot of risk to this decision. I didn't want to get in to deep and then have to tell him about me.

"Kate?" said Jack waiting for an answer

"Oh. Yes of course" I said with a small sweet smile. I hope we wasn't offended that I didn't answer right away. "I am sorry-" before I could finish Jack said "What your braking up with me already!" he said jokingly.

"Oh, no! I wanted to say sorry because I was standing there and you were...never mind." Jack just laughed at me, I guess he found it funny when I was confused.

"Its not funny!" I said giggling "Why do you find it funny when I get caught up or confused?"

"Its not funny, its cute."

"Mmm. Is it?" I said leaning into a kiss. "Do you think we should tell your family?"

"Yeah, I guess so. I don't see why not."

"Okay. we can start with your mom and your brother when we get to the craft fair then."

"Alright, sounds good." he said and we kept on walking towards the fair.

Four Months Later

Caitlyn POV

I was at the airport terminal with Jack. He, his mom, and his brother were going back to New York, for the start of the school year. I will be attending the Community College of California and I have an internship lined up with a company called "Capturing American Scenery (CAS)" and I will be working part time at the pizza shop.

Jack pulled out his luggage from the taxi and walked to the airport doors. I said goodbye to his family and then they went into the airport."

"You can go ahead in. I will meet you in there." Jack said to his mom and brother. I was some what sad that Jack was going away. I had a great Summer with him and didn't want to see him go. "Don't be sad. We can still be in touch and I can visit sometimes. "

"I know. I just used to seeing you everyday and...you know. Change can be hard." Harder than you would know.

"Yeah. I know." he said "We can make this long distance relationship work though. Right?"

"Of course we can!" I said trying to take any doubt out of my voice.

"Well, I have to catch my plane, but I will call you when I come back. Okay?"

"Yup. I will be waiting for your call" I said. He gave me a light peck on the lips and then he was off. He disappeared into the crowds of people inside the airport. I stayed there and watched him until I couldn't see him anymore, and then I called a cab to take me home.

Danny POV

I was sitting at my desk at the Yuma police station. We had absolutely nothing, when we check the tree house there was no one there and it looked like no one had been there for years. Baez and I have gotten no where and we need to find something or this case will have ruled as a cold case.

"So, what are we going to do?" I asked Maria

"I don't know because none of our clues panned out."

"I am not saying we aren't good detectives but maybe we need another brain on this case."

"Okay, Reagan." Baez said sarcastically "Two first grade defectives need help..."

"No just listen to what I am saying, maybe we need a fresh set of eyes."

"Okay, then. who do plan on bringing in."

"Well, I have a friend who I think could get this job done." I said slyly

"Are you talking about, who I think your talking about?" Baez said with a surprise

"You betcha!" I said back

A/N Who is this mystery person they are going to bring in? Can Jack and Caitlyn keep up a long distance relationship?
