After a year of the Buu Saga's torment, Gohan is now behind Vegeta in power due to Vegeta having perfect access to the highest potential of Super Saiyan 4, and Gohan in this timeline not slacking off wishes to get stronger, but how?

-Everyone is gathered at Bulma's birthday party at Capsule Corp wishing her happy birthday and having a good time while Goku is at King Kai's world training-

King Kai: "Goku, you know how many strings Dende and I have to keep pulling in order for you to train here?"

Goku: "Yeah, but I'm allowed here because-"

King Kai: "Because you, Vegeta, and Gohan defeated Majin Buu, yes I know."

Goku: "So what's the problem?"

King Kai: "You being here is the problem! A lot of people will dislike a living mortal being on a god's planet in the afterlife."

-A planet with a large tree and Pyramid upside down with the base as the floor is seen-

Whis: "I guess it's about time my lord wakes up."

-At this same time an explosion goes off inside a room of this Lord the Angel speaks of with a purple cat that resembles Anubis exiting-

Whis: "Oh my lord! You look such a mess, I must clean you up."

-Whis waving his staff and the god looks a lot cleaner-

Berus: "Whis, how long has it been?"

Whis: "45 years counting."

Berus: "It would've seemed that I woke up early."

Whis: "On the contrary my lord, you woke up just in time for lunch."

Berus: "Oh good! I wonder what's there to eat."

-Berus eating the lunch, however it has a bland taste that displeases the god-

Berus: "This is disgusting. Whis, haven't you found any new recipes?"

Whis: "Well I would if you would stop blowing up civilizations."

Berus:  "I can't help it. It's my job as a God of Destruction."

-Berus finally remembering why he woke up-

Berus: "WHIS!"

Whis: "Yes my lord?"

Berus: "I had a dream of this mortal becoming a god."

Whis: "Oh? And what that might be?"

Berus: "A- uh, oh yeah! A Super Saiyan God."

Whis: "Interesting."

Berus: "However there shouldn't be any Saiyans left as I told Frieza to take care of it."

Whis: "On the contrary lord Berus, a few saiyans have lived, and some have started families."

Berus: "Show me."

-The staff shows Goku defeating frieza,  then it changes to Goku training on King Kai's planet-

Berus: "We waste no time, let's go."

-Whis using his transportation ability and travels to King Kai's planet-

-Back to King Kai-

King Kai: "And another thi-"

Goku: "Why'd you stop?"

King Kai: "Get in the hut a being in the highest stature is going to be coming here."

Goku: "Really? I can't wait! I wanna fight him."

King Kai: "No goku, this guy is beyond your level, he is a God of Destruction, the strongest there is, and his name is Lord Berus. So take my words, and get in the hut."
