Hey, so sorry for the long wait, I had a full weekend and now it's Saint Patrick's day and my mom is cooking a huge feast, which I probably won't eat because I'm not hungry. But anywho, I'm gonna post a chapter now so please vote or comment, I would really appreciate it. And again, please excuse the grammar!! (Editor's Note: Except I will do my best to fix it :P) *puts on black glasses with white tape to look smart and act like I'm doing homework* Loves <3

JACOB'S POV

I open the single steel door before stepping onto the roof. As soon as I do, I can smell vanilla - strong, overpowering vanilla. I turn my head to see the ends of chocolate brown hair laying on the cement near the corner. I walk over curiously to check it out, but the more I walk over, the more I notic something is off. I soon see a shoulder, but it is trembling, I can smell the fear from the form. My wolf starts howling inside my head, MATE!

What, her!? She's my mate, this trembling girl? No, it can't be, my wolf has to be confused.

No, you nitwit, she's your mate! my wolf yells.

I flinch slightly before sighing and taking another step. Something feels a little off about her (again). She isn't a werewolf like me, but she isn't exactly human, I can smell it.

"I can see you." I say softly, leaning on one foot. Her body jumps as I talk, and she hugs herself tighter. "You can come out now."  I lean against the wall, on the other side of the corner so I can't see her, but I am close. "You don't have to be scared, you know. I don't bite. Much." I can hear a little giggle; it is quiet, but thanks to my incredible hearing, I am able to hear it. She lets herself breath a bit before I hear her mouth open.

"H-how did... y-you know?" she asks, her voice sounds like an angel. It is so soft, calm, but it is full of fear. I can't help but let my eyes sadden before trying to lighten the mood.

"Your hair is on the ground. I can see it."

A small, shaky hand grabs the hair off the floor and pulls it out of sight. "That's embarrassing..." she says, her voice a little lighter, but still with the same amount of fear.

"Haha, it's fine. Why are you up here?"

"Needed to get some air."

I run a hand through my hair. I know she's lying; I can hear it in her voice. What is going on with her, my mate? "Oh, well, good choice. It's very rare for anyone to come up here, none of the teachers do." I hear her laugh. My wolf and I sigh happily; her laugh is so calming.

"That's one reason I come up here, but I guess I'm not the only one anymore." Her voice is stronger, whatever happened is slowly being forgotten.

"Sorry, I guess I ruined your 'alone time'." I say, letting out a short laugh.

"No, it's fine. I don't have anyone to talk to, so I'm kinda happy you're here."

I smile.

Later that night, I open the pack house door - almost getting trampled in the process by multiple small wolves. I fall on my butt as they lick and softly bite my fingers and arms. Paws come at my face, and I groan slightly before trying to pull them off. I hear my mother barking at someone in the background. Sarah, my Fathers beta's mate, came through the doorway, helping me off the ground. I mumble a thanks before chasing the small pups around the house, showing them whose boss.

Our pack is the Moonlight Pack; the biggest and strongest in America. My dad is the Alpha, but soon I'll take his place. And, now that I've found my mate, we have a Luna. I couldn't help but let the growing smile stay on my face; I want to meet her, to actually know her.

Who is she?
