BELLA'S POVAfter the little 'escape' incident I haven't been back to the pack house afriad that Shean would yell at me since I let Abby and Caleb go. But I couldn't just let them die down there....But Jacob has been trying to convince me to go back saying that he talked to his dad about it and he's perfectly fine with it. I just don't have enough courage to face him, I don't think I ever will. At the moment I don't really want to think about that. Jacob is over playing with my little brother in the living room while I helped Mrs. Stevens with dinner. Those two seem to get along well together, which is so cute, and I'm just really glad that Jacob comes over now. I look over my shoulder seeing Jacob nudging little brother lightly with his shoulder trying to get him to mess up, they were playing WII. Jacob looked up connecting his eyes to mine. I blush and turn my head and continue cooking, that's so embarrasing! He saw me looking at him!
After a while, Mr. Stevens took my little brother to bed so Mrs. Stevens sat me next to Jacob and we all watched a movie together. It was funny trying to vote which one we'd all watch, so me and Mrs. Stevens won on Breakfast Club (OMG MOVIE WILL NEVER DIE! EVVVEEEEER! I LOVE YOU JUDD NELSON *fist pump into air*). Because it was so late, Mrs. Stevens went to bed towards the middle of the movie, laughing at Judd who was running down the halls and singing. Jacob turned to me with a small smile, he also fidgeted in his seat. I raise my eyebrow in question and worry.
"Tomorrow...." he says quietly.
"What about it?" I ask putting my legs on the couch.
"Will you go on a date with me?" Jacob asked meeting my gaze. I blush and quickly look away.
"Y-yes.." I say softly, he cups his ear.
"What's that? I can't hear you." I narrow my eyes at him, jerk.
"Yes! I will go on a date with you!" I say loudly.
"A date?" Mrs. Stevens says excitedly from the stairs. I blush a deep crimson, Jacob scratches his head also blushing.
"I think I should head home, it's getting late." Jacob stands, I plead at him with my eyes to stay. But he ended up leaving me to explain to Mrs. Stevens.
The next day I wake up around 5 am all jittery and jumpy. My stomach was full of buterflies and my arms and legs felt numb. I shake my head, no I'm probably just tired. I step into the shower blushing at the thought of me going on a date with Jacob. Jacob Daley, a boy who I barely looked at in school, until now. Jacob my mate, my handsome jerk. Jacob, the person I'm going on a date with today. I blush more blinking rapidly before sticking my head under the water to drown out my thoughts. I stare at my closet, standing in my towel and my hair in a bun to keep from dripping on my clothes. New problem, I needed something to wear. I look at my clock, 6:30 am. I sigh, still really early.
I hear a soft knock on my door and Mrs. Stevens peeks her head in the door smirking at the various clothes spread all over my room, some in small piles.
"Can't choose what to wear?" she asks.
"No!" I groan angrily, throwing down the shirt I was holding.
"Would you like my help?" I nod rapidly and get up to help her open the door so she could fit through. We spent hours looking for the perfect outfit. She managed to make me look good in a light blue dress, it was short but not too short. It had a small V but not too much clevage. She also curled the bottom of my hair, then we put it into a ponytail. I choose flats, which seemed most appropriate for a date. I pose in front of the mirror after I put on some lip gloss and eyeliner. Perfect.
