Lexi: Umm sure. Can't wait!
Jackson: Great!! We should probably clean up before my dad...
Out of a sudden Jackson was interrupted by his dad yelling at the door.
Nicholas: Jackson!!!!! You better clean the kitchen or no Christmas dinner young man!!!!!!!!!!
Jackson: Finds out. Don't worry Dad I'm on it!!!! Why don't you get cleaned up. I need to clean the kitchen before I'm grounded for life.
I laughed and Jackson gasped.
Jackson: Wait a minute. Did you just laugh?!
Lexi: So, what??
Jackson: So, you laugh. Which means you like my humor!
Lexi: Or I laughed cause your funny looking.
Jackson: Speak of yourself miss flour dust!
I shook my head.
Lexi: So where....
He interrupted me.
Jackson: Down the hall first door on the right and we have extra clothes that we saved from my mom when she was around. So, I'll put it outside the bathroom door.
I looked shocked.
Lexi: Wow!! You must have a magical gift for knowing that and you don't have to but thanks.
Jackson: Just want to give you the best hospitality and your welcome.
I smiled and went to the bathroom to get cleaned up.
Lexi's Mom: Do you need a hand to clean up the kitchen?
Jackson: If you want to it will make the job done faster.
Mom smiled and started to help Jackson to clean the kitchen. When I took off my messy clothes and jumped in the shower to clean off. Jackson was on my mind. The scary thing was I started to like him. Not because he flirted at me like any bad Romeo would do. It was his kind heart and that mess fight we had in the kitchen. It was the first time I smiled and laughed on Christmas Eve. Haven't done that since Dad was alive for the Holidays.
