As the time passed, Ajita had gotten stronger. Claiming a new victory once, sometimes twice a day, at the arena. She kept a very close eye on Baldyr, they never really got over the hostility towards one another and yet, they gained some sort of respect for each other. Though there have been some setbacks, she has conquered each and every one individually. Mastering sword fighting. Using a bow. Sailing. When it came to raiding, she would be hesitant, not killing those that were innocent in her eyes.
It took her a couple months before Kida and Bjorn deemed her strong enough to leave the Helagation, to see the world. Both mentally and physically. Four months after her training started, she was gifted with her first raid. She would stay by Kida, who was more than capable of keeping Ajita safe from harm, while the guys went and scrounged for the goods. She never grew up on raiding, Ajita didn't like it. Had her parents let her grow up with it, her thoughts might have changed.
Senne and Magnus took the lead in most raids, dragging up to fifty men and women behind their every move whether good or bad. Bjorn would be in the middle, making it easier to run where needed - if needed. Kida and Ajita stayed in the back with other archers, keeping a stealthful eye over the battlefield. No matter what though, she was always there, right beside her shield-brothers and sisters. Making sure all six of them would come home safely and successfully with gold in hand.
Every night, no matter what, she'd toss and turn. Dreaming of her family. Her old life. Only for them to turn to nightmares she has to fight to wake up from. Sweating, screaming herself awake. Kida would rush over to help her through her panic attacks. Some nights Ajita would lay her head in Kida's lap, leaving a thick layer of sweat behind every time which made Kidas skin crawl
When home, the small horde of them would start their training at sunrise all the way to sunset. Ajita has grown a stamina that almost matches Kida's, making her extremely dangerous with Achak.
As Ajita got stronger in combat, she has also gotten stronger mentally, using spells and incantations on her offtime from training.
With Ajita's name rapidly becoming a topic of discussion for the people of Faulkner, Earl Vidarr saw to it that he would "acquaint" himself with her, find out what everyone was going crazy over.
The first night they met, he was intrigued. As Baldyr fetched her in the commons, he watched her with adoration. He didn't want to take his eyes off of her and his wife knew this. She could see that from the moment he truly laid eyes on her, when they were close enough to read each other's souls, she knew that he would want a second wife.
Although he didn't pursue her, he made his intentions perfectly clear to her and he didn't care who else knew it, mainly because he knew everyone respected him, including his wife regardless if he wanted someone new or not.
With participating in the arena, Kida was a bit hesitant at first but it was when Bjorn and Senne encouraged Ajita to fight that she hesitantly agreed to it. It was a slow conquest but one by one she has succeeded. Gaining more and more victories.
As the time passed, the time came for Ajitas ceremony to be truly accepted into the village. In receiving her new arm bracelet, she swore to the Earl, his wife and the people of Faulkner that she would protect them at all cost, and she'd stop at nothing to take revenge on those that dared harm Faulkner and those that reside in it. Most importantly though, she's reiterating a promise that she made years ago that she unintentionally broke.
From that night on, the norsemen and women have given Ajita their respect as she did them. Standing behind her, whenever she failed at something they would always be there to pick her up, some of those being in her first raid.
