Daisy's third person POV:

"good morning ," her assistant, and best friend, Hazel, said as she opened the curtains. the sun had already risen and was shining softly, casting a golden light onto the golden Princess of England. "are you excited?"

Daisy sat up in her bed. "excited for what?" she asked, confused. Hazel laughed. "you really don't remember?" she walked over to the closet and pulled out a pretty blue dress with lace. "we're going to wimbledon. something about supporting our country."

She groaned and got out of bed. She went over to where hazel was standing, looking at the dress. "God, that sounds like a bore. i suppose i'll have to smile and wave and get my picture taken. as usual. but the tennis will be nice."

A thought crossed her mind, one she didn't really know what she felt about. She wasn't going to ask anything, but Hazel knew her too well.  "Amina'll be there. Obviously." she raised an eyebrow at her. "looking forward to seeing her?"

"shut up. i am not excited to see my archnemesis." At this, Hazel rolled her eyes. "don't. she thinks she's so..cool, and that everyone loves her, and i think the fame got to her head a little bit." Hazel laughed a bit. "and you're talking about Amina El Maghribi, not Daisy Wells? because they do sound awfully similar." She grinned, handing the dress to Daisy. "and you two have something going on."

Daisy took the dress and stuck her tongue out at her. "no we do not. how dare you." she sputtered. "i'll have you thrown in the dungeons for that, Miss Wong. Besides," she added, "she isn't even that good at tennis."

As she slumped back down into a chair, Hazel grinned. "Are you sure you're not biased? The whole 'nemesis' thing and all.." she dropped the dress on Daisy's lap and left the room, calling out, "get dressed on and get ready! we're leaving soon."

She did so, and as she looked in the mirror she could agree she looked quite pretty. The dress wasn't too short, stopping just under her knees. It was light and flowy, perfect for a day of sitting and looking dainty and ladylike. God. she rolled her eyes. But it was her job. to sit and be nice and talk but not too much, and smile and wave but still keep that reserved, royal air about her.

Daisy took her seat, right inbetween Hazel and- curse her luck- Amina El Maghrabi. She was important somewhere. Daisy pretended that she had never bothered to learn where, but really she had just forgotten. She had definitely seen her face in a newspaper once, though. And maybe that same newspaper was lying under her bed, hidden so Hazel couldn't throw it away. But it wasn't.

Her enemy noticed who she was sitting next to, the corner of her lips quirking upwards. "hello, Daisy. How have you been?" Daisy gave her a cool stare. "I have been fine. thank you for asking." Seeing Amina in sports clothing, and in the VIP seating section, she remembered why she must be here. "Why are you sitting here? You're a player, aren't you?" Amina winked. "Yeah, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to see her majesty."

"Please. You're obsessed with me."She said and looked away, trying to focus on the match which was about to begin.Amina just rolled her eyes. "Come on. Don't deny you aren't in love with me. I mean, who isn't?"

Before she could roll her eyes and say how her ego was in the clouds, Hazel tapped her shoulder. "stop flirting and watch the game." Daisy felt her cheeks go slightly pinker at the tops. "i told you, hazel." she whispered. "nothing is happening. She's delusional. And straight." "sure." she turned away to face the tennis match, laughing.
