Chapter 13

Jessica's POV

(Skipping again, oops!)

-9 years later-

"Mum, can I borrow some money to go out with Danielle and the girls?" Hannah asked.

"How much?" I reached for my purse and began to unzip it.

"$25?" I handed her the money and she thanked me and hugged me before rushing out of the house and I noticed that she had shoved Kyle into the wall.

"Are you okay sweetie?" I helped him up and he thanked me before picking up his skateboard and leaving the house.

I sighed and entered the living room and fell down on the couch beside Calum. He pecked my lips and gave me a soft smile.

"Babe, coul-"

"No!" Calum yelled from the kitchen.

"Stop asking me to do everything for you! You're not pregnant anymore! You're perfectly capable of making your own food, drinks and running your own baths. Your legs work perfectly fine and its so fucking annoying! I work hard everyday and I come home and get nagged by you telling me to do shit that I don't fucking want to do. I just do it because I loved you!!" I raised my eyebrows at his words.

Loved. Past tense. He doesn't love me anymore? He would have left me by now if he didn't love me.. Right? Or was he just staying here for the kids benefits. I mean nothing to him.

I stood up from the couch and opened my mouth getting ready to say something when he held his hand up and began firing more words at me.

"No! Shut the fuck up for once! Almost every day since we've been together you have nagged me multiple times" well that's a lie.

"Your voice is so irritating! I get so stressed at work and then I come home to you! I used to love coming home and being with you but now all you do is nag and complain about how shit your job is! Fucking hell Jessica! Just shut the fuck up!"

Once Calum had finished ranting he ran his hands through his hair and then looked at me. His facial expression softened but before he could say anything I ran out of the room and straight out of the house.

My phone buzzed once more and I let out a slurred groan and put the bottle of wine I was drinking on the ground and I stared at the blurry screen.

Mum? Where are you? Dad's driving himself crazy! Call me! Xx

Mum?! Come home! Xx

Baby, where the fuck are you? I'm so fucking sorry please come home xxx

I rolled my eyes and switched my phone off and began to drink again. I stared at the multiple bottles surrounding me which were laying on the ground.
