Jessica's POV

*2 months later*

I opened the new snapchat as curiosity got to the best of me. I held my finger down on the bold name of my curly haired friend. I was not expecting to see Calum with his head down and the caption 'Calum missing you'.

Quickly, I sent Calum an iMessage and waited for him to reply. I missed him so much and we hadn't spoken for a couple of days. I smiled to myself when I saw he was typing a reply.

Baby, I miss you too. Please don't be sad xxxx

I can't help it! I want you here by my side! You're my wife and you're my everything Jessica Hood! I wish you were here, I cry myself to sleep in my bunk because your not asleep beside me. I need you Jess. Xxxxx

I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel the same but please don't cry, you'll be home soon and I will still be here and we can make up for lost time ;). Calum Thomas Hood, I love you xxxxx

Incoming Face Time Call: Calxx

His beautiful tanned face popped up on the screen and he looked exhausted already. He kept sniffling and wiping his eyes and we just stayed in silence for a few minutes as he tried to get himself together.

"You're not allowed to look beautiful when I'm not there with you!" He pouted.

I laughed softly and flopped down onto the couch in our house. I can't wait until he's back because then this house feels like home. He completes it.

"I'm not the only one that has been crying. Mikey broke down too. He went from really happy to really angry and then he started yelling and throwing things and then he fell to his knees and started crying." I gasped and then bit my lip gently.

"I-I miss y-you baby s-so m-much" he whispered and hicupped a little before wiping his eyes and cuddling his blankets.

"I miss you too Cal" I whispered.

Seeing Calum upset made my heart break. He was my sunshine and when he's sad I become sad aswell. We talked about random things to try and get our minds off the subject.

"Goodnight princess. I love you so fucking much" he blew a kiss and before I knew it his face disappeared from the screen making me suddenly miss him more than I did before.

I locked my phone and then pressed the home button and gazed at my lock screen which was a photo of us pulling weird faces. Hot tears spilled down my cheeks at the sight of it because of how vividly I remembered that day.
