CHAPTER TEN
whispers from the sky!" MA ! "
________________________________________________
YOU WOKE UP IN YOUR room with all your stuff but you didn't have time to look at it because you immediately felt your chest looking for the bullet wound. "y/n!" you heard a familiar voice call for you, the door open to show your grandma.
"ma!" you said, running up to her and hugging her as she sobbed into her shoulders. "what are you doing here?" she spoke as you pulled away, "it's not your time." she said as you shook your head.
"ma, i'm not leaving you here." you said as tears fell from your eyes and she smiled at you, placing her hands on your face.
"my time in the world has passed, you still have life to live." she said and you just looked down as you walked back to your bed and sat down. "come with me, i want to show you something." she said and you looked at her.
you and your grandma walked through a flower field as you held your grandma's arm. "you remember this?" she asked you and you shook your head, "i used to take you here when younger, i guess you wouldn't remember." she said and you looked at the field before touching the flowers.
"i remember when you took me here and i remember that lucas fell over there." you and your grandma laughed as you pointed. you looked at your grandmother as she laughed and you immediately remembered what happened to you, "ma, i was shot...i was choking on my blood and the only reason i'm seeing you now is that i'm dead or i'm dying." you spoke with your hands on her shoulders.
she looked at you with the biggest smile, "you're alive y/n, you're not dying." she said before hugging you and you hugged her back as you sobbed.
"i love you grandma." you said with your broken voice and she kept telling that she loved you too as you continued to sob.
YOU WOKE UP AS your eyes narrowed with the bright lights in them. when your eyes saw things clearer, you sat up to see yourself in a hospital bed but you immediately felt the bullet wound on your chest.
you took a deep breath and started crying softly at the fact that it was all a dream, you didn't see your grandmother so it hurt a lot.
what happened to a normal girl? you asked yourself that question every day since you made yourself that promise, you were so tired of fighting, moving, talking, crying, just everything.
