Chapter 19

"Sit and talk to you for hours,"

"Thank you so much for taking care of me Ryukyu-San," I say as a goodbye. Today is my last day of internship and we just finished up the work day.

And because it's my last day, Nejire had the bright idea for the three of us to dress in matching outfits. So today the three of us are dressed as the girls from Charlie's Angels 2000. I have Drew Barrymore's outfit, Nejire has Cameron Diaz's, and Ryukyu has Lucy Liu's. Nejire forced us to take a million pics when I walked into the agency, it was embarrassing but hilarious. And unlike with the bend and snap incident Ryukyu was taking this reference in stride.

"The experiences and memories I gained here will be ingrained in my head forever," I smile at them.

"It was an honor to have you here, y/n. Next time I promise to do more training as well as work experience," Ryukyu responds.

"Aw guys this is making me tear up! I won't see you for so long y/n!" Nejire jumps on us forcing a group hug.

"But Nejire, we're hanging out together on Monday after school,"

All in all the internship was a very good experience, I got to practice my water abilities a little more, I got to work with amazing people, and I got to do actual hero work (mostly the paperwork). All in all I have no complaints, and it can all be summed up in one word: Exhausting.

I reach home and find Shinsou passed out on the couch. I grab a blanket from the coat closet and drape it over him causing him to wake up.

"Welcome back," he says with a yawn.

"Hey Hito-nii, how was work?"

"It was good, I think I have a new regular," He says with a slight blush.

"Oooh is that a blush I see?"

"Shut up, y/n"

I just laugh and continue pestering and teasing him. I poke fun of him so much that he leaves the room.

"What?!?! I just wanna know if I'll be made maid of honor!!!"

"Katsuki, this is too hard!!!"

"Stop being stupid, dumbass!!"

"Don't call me that, you radioactive imbecile!"

In the bustling UA High library, Katsuki Bakugou found himself in a rather unexpected situation. He was seated at a table, surrounded by math textbooks and geometry problems, and across from him was y/n, struggling with the hardest subject known to man, geometry.

"Alright, pay attention, and don't waste my time. Circles are simple, but you gotta get this right."

"Katsuki, I really appreciate your help but I need less screaming and more helping."

Katsuki was the obvious choice for a tutor, he was a close friend, good in every subject, and most importantly he was the only one around.

Bakugou opened one of the geometry textbook's on the table to a section on circles, his impatience palpable.

"This is about finding the circumference and area of a circle. First, you need to know the formula for circumference: C = 2πr, where 'r' is the radius."

As Bakugou explained, Y/N diligently took notes and nodded but it was all going in one ear and out the other.

"Okay, so I just plug in the radius, and I get the circumference?"

"Yeah, and remember, π is 3.14. Don't forget that."

"Got it. What about the area?"

"Area of a circle is A = πr². It's that simple. Now, try solving this problem."

Y/N worked through the problem, with Bakugou offering guidance and corrections when needed. Gradually, she became more confident in her circle geometry skills but she was still unsure.

"I think I've got it now, Bakugou. Thanks for your help,"  she looked up at him smiling.

Bakugou looked away blushing, "Don't mention it, and don't get used to it, Y/N. You're one of the few extras here I can tolerate, so just make sure you don't mess this up on the finals. Now, let's tackle the next problem."

Throughout their study session, Bakugou's tough exterior softened just a bit, and Y/N appreciated seeing this side of katsuki. It reminded her of when they first interacted with the stray calico cat.

As they progressed it got darker, "It's getting dark, I think we should start wrapping it up."

Katsuki nodded and we started packing up. As we're about to leave I see a group from our class studying, "Wave at them and I'll blow your hand off."

"Damn it Katsuki, why are you so violent."

The days flew by in a blur until it was the day of the exams. I tried my best and was really confident in how I did, ie I failed. After the geometry exam I was all good vibes, aka the best way to know you failed. I ran up to katsuki as soon as I saw him afterwards and hugged him, to which  he promptly cussed me out.

"What do you think we'll do for the physical exam, tomorrow?"

"Idk, all I know is I'm gonna be the best at it."

"Whatever you say, katsuki. Also thank you for helping me study katsuki, I really appreciated it." I turn to him and give him a kiss on the cheek, resulting in him blushing from ear to ear.

"Whatever."

I smile at him and turn away from him once we reach the gate, "bye katsuki, see you tomorrow!"

"Later, loser."
