Epilogue

Valerie's POV
Two months after graduating, Solomon and I are lying down in the park we got back together, staring at the stars.
            "I can't believe we both got accepted into SNU. I didn't you know you had the brains." I say, teasing him.
         "You don't know how much the heaven blessed you with someone like me. I got the face, the brains, the height, the money. I mean, what more could you ask for?"
            "Your ego is not from this planet." I say in between my laugh.
           "Whatever.  You are just jealous." He says with a smile.
           "You wish baby." I reply, still laughing like a maniac. He joins me in laughing and we eventually stopped when we couldn't catch our breath again.
           "I am so glad you are in my life." He took a long pause before he continues.
            "You are mine Val. You have been mine for a long time. Maybe forever. It just took me more than eighteen years to find you."." Solomon says, making me blush.
           "I can't imagine my life without you either. I am forever yours. Our love story feels more like a movie. Too good to be true. I know we will always have our ups and downs but I will stick with you, I promise. I love you Solomon."
            "I love you more Val. So, how about we seal our promise?"
             "What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.
He dips his hand into his right pocket and brings out a box.
          "I got us a promise ring." He says as he opens the box. It is so beautiful.
          "Oh my God, this is so beautiful."  I say in a shaky voice. He picks up my left hand and slides the ring into my finger and I do the same to him.
         "OMG! I love it. I can't wait to show Mia!" I hug him with excitement.
         "I am glad you love it." He says smiling.
          "Valerie."
           "Hmmmm?" I answer still engrossed in admiring my ring.
            "Look at me." He says grabbing my hands.
            "It is us against the world now. Just you and I. Nobody else matters okay? I want you to be my beginning, middle and end. I...."
             "Why do you keep using lines from movies on me?" I cut him off laughing.
            "You sure know how to ruin a romantic moment."
          "Okay okay, sorry. Continue please." I say, still laughing.
         "All I am saying is that, I love you Val and I want us to be together...forever. What you saying gurl???"
        "You got yourself a deal bruhh." I say as we both burst into laughter.
        "So, are we going to seal this with a kiss or what?" Solomon asks
        "Cone here silly." I grab him by his collar and kiss him. Always feel like the first time. I am never getting tired of this guy. Y'all are not ready for what is coming!
