"Do you ever wonder what actually happened to Voldemort?" Harry Potter asked his favourite Uncle.

Severus Snape looked at the piss poor copy of James Potter with a scowl. It always irritated him whenever someone brought up the name of the man that had his wife's attention for so long.

Harry Potter was innocently fiddling with Severus' miniature quidditch set that stood along the wall of his office. He had a notebook in his hands with a self writing quill. Severus could only assume it was quidditch strategies for Gryffindor.

"No. Though if you are curious, you can always speak to Lord Imp." Severus said smoothly. His voice didn't once show the irritation he felt.

Harry glanced at him before staring down at his notebook with his brows scrunched up.

"Erm... no thanks."

Severus raised an eyebrow at the boy before setting his book down.

"Do you have a problem with my wife? Potter?"

"N-no? ...she's just a little...terrifying?" Harry said a little shyly. Harry did not fear Severus at all. Especially if he was complaining about his beloved wife right in front of him.

Severus felt his jaw clench before he leaned back in his chair and stared at the boy till he could elaborate. Harry fidgeted.

"She wrote an entire series about me being some kind of hero called the boy who lived and I'm super embarrassed because all the muggleborns think I'm Jesus reborn." Harry complained. "Then mom went and named me after her other books from before I was born, and there's this other kid names Draco and everyone is always teasing me about it!"

Severus would have laughed if he didn't have such a tight control on his faculties. Instead he smirked at Harry for a moment as he thought fondly to the times when his Lord was writing that trash inside a trunk.

They had all come so far.

"Lord Imp insisted that you be named Harry. You're mother wanted to name you Fleamont." Severus informed the boy.

Why did the boy always visit him in his office anyway? Didn't he have friends to go and bother? He was the star of the entire school, surely someone else would like to listen to all his minuscule problems.

Severus finally had a break from all the relentless and tedious work, and now has to suffer the eldest Potter boy's attention.

"She did? But Fleamont is such a cool name!" Harry whined.

Severus sighed. The newer generation was lacking any sort of social decorum. Whining was not the proper response in any situation for a fifteen year old.

Harry was just like his father.

"Do you not have friends to be spending your time with, Potter?" Severus asked as his finger tapped silently on his book.

Harry sighed and stepped away from the Miniature quidditch set, storing his notebook into his mokeskin pouch. "I just want to know about Tom Riddle. He was the main enemy in the books, and he was based off of an actual person! I want to know why? Didn't he die just before he could become Minister?"

Severus scrutinized the boy for a long moment before gesturing to the seat in front of his desk. Harry grinned and moved to sit down.

He thought for a moment on how to tell the boy this story.

"Tom Riddle was a halfblood, his mothers name was Merope Gaunt, and his father a muggle also named Tom Riddle. His mother was severely inbred, and so she had no possibility of gaining herself a lover without a love potion. She picked the most handsome muggle of the lot and got him to impregnate her. She died giving birth and the child went to a muggle orphanage. Reports say Riddle was considered a creepy and heartless child. He enjoyed hurting the other children, and causing havoc."
