🍂CHAPTER 12🍂

Roychowdhury Haveli, Tulsipur.
Post Munshi came and went,

Afternoon time yet a completely pleasant atmosphere all around. The telephone in Anirudh's study rang and he came running and received the call and heard,

"Hello, Anirudh hai ?"

"Hello! Anirudh Roychowdhury here!! Aaaa.. mera matlaab haa Anirudh Roychowdhury baat kar raha hoo, aap kon?"
He replied.

"Areee Anirudh mai hoo tumhari Mini !! Kya tum bhi awaj nahi pehchana mera tumne ??" Spoke Saudamini sounding a bit disappointed.

"Aree aisa kuch nahi tum ye batao itne subhe tum ne telephone kyu kiya hai kuch kaam tha kyaa??"
Asked Anirudh diverting her and saving himself from the possible melodrama on his way.

"Kaam aisa kuch nahi, par bass ye puchna tha kya tum mere sath aaj gaav ke mele mai chalogee?? Kayii Saal ho gaye humme sath mai mele gayee huvee!! Tumhe yaad hai hum bachpan mai sath Mei mela Jaya karte thee tum, mai ...."
saudamini was speaking this and Anirudh cut her in between and said,

"Mishti, Som, Dev hum sabhi Jaya karte thee. Haa haa sabh yaad hai mujhee Mini woh bhi achee see !"

" Agar yaad hai toh bolo aa rahe ho na sath mere?? "
questioned Saudamini. Anirudh calculating something to himself and taking a deep breath said,

" Acha thik hai chalunga mai tumhare sath. Chalte hai hum sabh !"

" sabh? !! "
almost yelled Saudamini on the telephone.

"Ha sabh !! Tumne hi toh kaha na bachpan keh jaisa toh bachpan mai toh sabh Jaya karte the na toh itna kyu chok rahi hoo?"
Replied Anirudh to her astonished scream.

"Anirudh hum dono hi chalte hai na bakki sabh toh vyast hongee jaise ki Dev apne kaam mai Hoga som padhai Mai Sharvari chodegi nahi usse agar uski padhai ka nuksan huva toh .. samaj rahe ho na tum mai kya keh rahi hoo"
Saudamini tried to convince him.

Listening all that he realized he can't deny what's she is saying plus he can't say no too for the outing because recently since he has came back, he has done his level best to avoid her knowing his Jetha moshai's disliking towards her for some unknown reasons and repeating that would look bad but something popped up his mind and he said,

"Acha thik hai bakki koi nahi par Mishti toh jarur aayegi, kyuki woh khud keh rahi thi usse jane ka Maan hai gaav ke mela mai . Toh fir milte hai kuch der mai Haveli ke bahar chalega ??"

Though a bit disappointed that Sharvari too would come along Saudamini said,

"Haa theek hai milta haii Anirudh hum."
And the telephone got disconnected.

Anirudh sat on the couch as if he was tired closing his eyes but opened them with a jerk and said to himself and said,

"Baith kya raha hai Anirudh!! Mini se kaha hai Mishti aayegi jabki woh aane ke liye pehle usse manana padega joh na ke barabar haiii !! Chal pehle usse mana warna mini ke sath akele jana padegaaa!!"

And he ran to find Sharvari.

Sharvari was in her room overlooking some gifts which were been packed by Bihari. Anirudh entered her room and as soon as he entered Bihari began to leave but Anirudh signed him to stay and continue whatever he was doing and Sharvari greeted him,

"Good Afternoon Da!!"
Sharvari was in an simple dark blue colour saree with big white flowers on it drapped in modern way drapping a saree than the regular Bengali one looking simple yet elegant where a red small bindi, a pair of Moti bangles and a Moti choker around her neck complimenting her look. She was looking fresh making Anirudh feel fresh too.
