I blame myself for forcing commitment on Red. I thought she was ready to settle down and be treated right, I guess not.

She's been through so much she deserves somebody who will treat her right and give her the time and affection she deserves.

But I got to think about myself at this point. I needed to clear my mind and get Red out of my system. So I texted my friend Merissa.

Me 📱- come through I don't want to be alone tonight

Merissa📱- oh yo boo Red not there?

Me📱-used to be boo that girl ain't wassup

Merissa📱- aight I'll be there in 20 mins 😘

I ordered some Chinese food and jumped in the shower.

5 minutes later I heard a knock at the door and Merissa was standing there looking good asf. She had on some yoga pants them new jays and a tight fitted tank top.

She started smiling

"quit looking for you hurt yourself" she said referring to me staring at her ass when she walked in.

I gave her a hug and she held on to me tight telling me how much she missed me.  "I miss you too baby" I said gripping her butt "whatever with yo fake ass" she said pushing off of me.

"we both know I'm not the fake one I just been busy" I knew where this conversation was leading so I walked away.
"yea busy tryna please Red, boy you know she ain't ready for commitment" I grew mad thinking about the events that passed.  "man fuck her it's just us for now."

The doorbell rung and it was the man with the Chinese food I paid him tipped him and he left.

Me and Merissa cuddled up watching movies and eating.

I couldn't lie Merissa was bad asf and weve known each other for years now.

Yea we fucked a few times but we never were serious because I wanted Red.

But now that she out the way I can finally pursue a relationship with Merissa.

I kissed Merissa on the forehead and sleep eventually took over us.
