Fifteen minutes later she broke away from the kiss and I grabbed my phone that was on the other side of the bed.
"She hanged up like ten minutes ago." I spoke.
I guess she was probably saying some shit in those five- ten minutes.
"Good let just hope that she knows when to back off." Erika said as she laid her head on my chest.
"I already blocked the number and can I ask you something?"
"Sure what is it?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes, I do trust you Sammy but it is just I don't want a lot of drama in our relationship."
"Yeah, I get it and it is really frustrating because you just don't know what to expect when it comes out of nowhere."
"Having a relationship that doesn't involve drama and loyalty can last long depends on if they want that." She explained.
"And do you want that?" I asked even know what the answer would be.
"Yeah, to last long though." She spoke.
"Yeah me too." I said.
The door was heard opened and both us looked to see Clarence standing front of the door.
"Hey guys we made reservations at a restaurant for dinner tonight, so just letting you know." Clarence said before leaving the room and closing the door.
"These past four days of being here been really decent for me." She said.
"Yeah but the only thing that made it good is being around you and friends as well." I spoke.
She smiled at me and then gave me a peck on the lips.
"You know what I am in the mood for?" Erika questioned.
"For what?" I asked her.
"Ice cream I don't know why but I am really craving for it." She replied.
********
"Your total is $3.50." The cashier said and gave him the money.
"Next time let me pay." Erika said as she took a spoonful of the rocky road ice cream in her mouth.
"Every time you said that you don't even do it." I spoke.
"I know if I did you would have stop me from trying to pay for anything because you rather spend money on your girlfriend than letting her pay with her own money." She spoke.
Both of us sat in the table across from each other and I took a spoonful of vanilla ice cream in my mouth.
I chuckled and ate some of my vanilla ice cream. "You can pay next time."
She nodded and continued eating her ice cream.
"Vanilla is the most blandest ice cream flavor and overrated as well." She states.
"I agree on that."
"Then why are you eating it?"
I shrugged. "Some of the ice cream flavors here taste disgusting."
"Have you even tried any of them?"
"Well some of them."
"Your taste buds probably just hate you that's all."
"Maybe."
"You know I really love this."
"Love what?"
"I love spending time with you because it really feels so special."
"Yeah, it really does feels so special."
Also wanted to say I love you but I feel like it is too early to say it to her and rather just wait for that one day to tell her and I know I won't regret saying it.
