A High School Student Again

Chapter- 18

Mid term exams were coming, Dan-I wanted to study on weekend but she was bombarded with her friends. And instead of studying they all watched the video that took during middle school.

And Dan-I didn't get to study the whole day. So to make up for that, the next evening she went to Cale's house to study.

And Cale taught her and Choi Han about the important topics. But what surprised her was that Raon already knew about them. He even explained her few problems she couldn't understand. At that point Dan-I didn't know that she should feel ashamed or think of it as normal in the novel world.

Thanks to Cale's teaching she managed to get 25th place in the exam. Cale as always got the first place. Yeoryeong got 2nd and Jiho got 3rd place.

Today everyone was making plans for the retreat. Jeongin and others looked especially enthusiastic to beat class 1, Yeoryeong and four heavenly kings class. But all the enthusiasm ended when they remembered how easily class 1 can win.

"Oh, but, from what I know those guys hate going on stage."

Dan-I spoke her thoughts loudly letting the whole calss hear.

And then the whole class started pestering Dan-I to call them and ask. Thankfully Jiho seem to understand her situation and answered her vaguely.

They started discussing what to do when Ruda proposed doing a romantic play.

'He's hitting on Dan-I'

Alberu thought watching Ruda trying to make Dan-I and himself the main characters.

The students asked Alberu to join but he refused, and Cale, well he was just sleeping the whole time.

Seeing how cringe and love dovey script was being Dan-I protested to change it. But all her protests were ignored. Alberu was laughing at how miserable Dan-I looked when she read thorough the whole script and threw it away running out of class refusing to participate. But she was dragged back.

Cale was mentally crining hearing all the things going on in the script. He was so glad he wasn't getting dragged into this.

On the day of retreat all the students gathered in the school ground. The principal was giving a unnecessarily long speak making the students standing there feel bored.

Class 1 students were sweating buckets while Eunhyung was standing all there refreshed as if sunbathing. Jiho tapped his shoulder and pointed towards the Dan-I who was sleeping while standing.

Her head was bobbing and she was swaying in the sleep. They both laughed at her but their laugh vanished when Ruda came and made her lean towards him.

Jiho was about to burst with anger when Alberu who sensed the incoming wrath smoothly took Dan-I and made her lean on him.

Alberu's one arm was sheltering the sleeping Cale while the other supported the drowsy Dan-I. Seeing this Jiho calmed down.

Then all the students baorded the busses. The setad withing the busses were arranged according to classes.

In the bus Alberu was watching as Jeongina nd Mina ushered Dan-I and Ruda to practice a scene while Cale was sleeping who had made his mission to sleep through the whole bus ride.

Ruda decided to practice the scene where he traps Dan-I against the wall. He trapped Dan-I by putting both his hands on the buss window.

"Hey wanna be mine"

He said, getting into role. His voice and eyes were full of emotion. It looked like he was emerged into his role.

Only Alberu knew he really was hitting on Dan-I. As much as he knew about Dan-I he was sure that she would do something weird in response to this. She's never good at such things much like someone he know.
