Shameless

After getting ready for the day I decided to go out and get some shopping done along with a few errands. I lock my bedroom door and take the loose floor board up. I take out a set of keys, a stack of bills and a few documents I would need for today. I place the board back and put everything in my bag. 

"Hey, I'm going out, Anyone need anything?" I ask once I get the the kitchen everyone was sat around eating and I go around greeting each of them with a kiss on the head. 

"Chocolate."

"Milk, bread, eggs."

"Washing up liquid."

Were some of the responses I got. I grab a chocolate bar from the box I had taken from cash and pass it to Carl. "Breakfast and teeth first. I'll be back for lunch."

"Oh, Steve's ordering burgers so we can watch biggest catch." Fi shouts out before I leave. "Cheese Nachos and sprite for me!" I yell as I leave saying the only Vegetarian option I could think of in the moment. 

I walk a few blocks before pulling the keys from my bag. Pressing the button a familiar beep feels the air and I climb into my dark midnight blue 2009 Hyundai Genesis. The others didn't know about my car but I was thinking of telling them all today. I start the engine and drive to the bank. 

"Hello, How can I help you today?" A kind but tired looking lady greets me as I step up the the teller in the bank "Hi, I would like to open 7 bank accounts." She pauses for a moment and motions me to a cubicle. 

"May I ask why?"

"There for myself and my siblings. I want a three of them to be debit accounts and the other four to be junior saving accounts." I say as we both sit down. 

"Okay. How about we start with yours?"

Thirty minutes later all the accounts were set up. "Okay. Do you have any funds you would like to add to them no?"

"Yes I do." I pull the money out from my bag and the ladies jaw drops. "Don't worry it's all legit. I've been working for a few years but never got around the setting up a back account." I reassure her with a kind smile and a chuckle. She relaxes and places the money in a counter. 

"Okay. That was $17,576. Is it all going into one account?"

"No. Can you put $1000 in each of the accounts that aren't mine and the other $11000 in mine. The other $576 I will need back." I quickly break up the amount in my head." "Of course. Just give me a moment." She taps away on her computer before splitting the money into deposit bags. 

"Okay. That is all done for you. I just need your signature and the three debit cards will be mailed to you by the end of the week. The junior saving accounts will automatically become debit accounts once the client become 16. These are for you. Whenever you want to add money into the junior accounts you will have to bring these with you as proof of account." She hands me four small leather bound books with the banks logo that the account details had been printed into earlier.

She hands me the rest of the money back as well and my copy of the forms for proof. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

"No, that was everything. Thank you so much." I say as we both stand and she shakes my hand. "Of course. Come back if you need anything or have any questions. Help can also be found online. Remember we will only ever ask for you customer number. anything else is a scam."

I smile at her warning and say goodbye before leaving. I go to the nearest Dollar Tree next and buy milk, bread, soap, eggs, washing up liquid, diapers a few new blankets that were on clearance, tampons as well as a few other things to restock the bathroom. I also got boxes to organize the upstairs bathroom so everyone had their own boxes to keep their things in.
