chapter 2: going to the park

You woke up to your little sister shaking you and calling your name, through your tired eyes you could tell she was excited about something. You sat up and yawned, "Christ Ella!, why are you waking me up so early?you know I hate waking so early "you said tiredly , "dad left for work and Andrews still asleep, and it's quiet downstairs, and I'm kinda scared to go downstairs by myself " Ella exclaimed, ", fine, I'll keep you company, okay " you replied, you couldn't say no to your Lil sister, she's just a kid after all. You got up from your bed and put on your slippers, and walked out of your room with Ella. You two walked downstairs and towards the kitchen, she at down on a chair, "so?watcha want for breakfast?" You asked her, "how about pancakes and beacon" she said excitedly, you smiled and went on to make breakfast, Andrew walked into the kitchen half asleep and sat down next to Ella. "Y/n, you could have woken me up, you didn't have to make breakfast"Andrew said slightly scolding you, "it's fine Andy, you were still asleep" you replied, "but you could have woken me up, ya know" Andrew exclaimed, "don't sweat it Andy, and besides I'm the best cook in the house"you said proudly, "say's who? I'm the best cook here y/n" Andrew said with pride, "no , I am, aren't I Ella?" You said looking at your younger sister, "I'm clearly the best cook, aren't it Ella" Andrew said to Ella, "you both are good cooks, no need for arguing" Ella said , "well your kinda right about that" Andrew said in defeat, "yeah I guess so" you said, "then it's agreed, but I think you might wanna check up on those pancakes" Ella said pointing at the now smoking pancakes, "oh, shit!"Andrew said, "oh fuck!" You said. Andrew turned the stove off and took the pan of the stove and put it in the sink. "Well, I guess y'all gonna have to remake the pancakes" Ella exclaimed, "I'll make it this time, since"somebody "can't pay attention" Andrew said teasingly, "hey!!, I can pay attention, well sometimes" you said, "Sure you do" Andrew said chuckleing

Fast forward
You decided to take Ella to the park, Andrew decided to join you two at the park, you and Andrew were sitting on a bench talking and occasionally looking at Ella to make sure she's still in the park. "Ella was playing with another kid, "hey Andrew?" You said, "yeah?" Andrew replied, "do you ever think Ella's gonna stay this sweet and kind when she's older " you asked, "I'm not sure, but we can in joy the fact that she is still sweet "Andrew said, "yeah, I agree, but I kinda worry about her a lot" you said, "and why's that?"Andrew asked, "due to the fact she's so kind and innocent, she can be easily used and manipulated ", "yeah, I worry about that too, but y/n it's not your job to worry, that's my job I'm the oldest out of all the three of us " Andrew exclaimed, "yeah I know,but I'm here older sister, I worry just as you do" you said, "you have a point, but don't stress too much, it's not good for ya" Andrew said, " fine then, you do have a point " you said. Y/n!!, Andrew!! Come push me on the swing!!"Ella shouted from the swing set, you and Andrew got up from the bench and made your way over to you Lil sister.
