chapter 6: wanna hangout later?

after that godforsaken game of dogde ball ,everyone got leave, some had to go visit the school nurse, known as nurse lane , some just went on to class, you were currently in science class, the teacher explained that everyone would be paired into groups of 3, the teacher chose groups for everyone, you looked at your paper and saw you'd be paired with max and Libby, you were a lil anxious, you didn't know them so... that's probably why..., you were so caught up in your thoughts, you didn't notice the two girls Infront of you , until max waved a hand in your face, you snapped outta it and looked up at them , "looks like we're partners" max said, "yeah" you replied, "I'm so excited, omg hi ,im Libby , Libby Denver" Libby said, she seemed alot excited, "and I'm max, max Emily and you are?" she said, "y/n l/n , nice to meet ya Max and Libby " you said, "so... what do you think we should do for our science project ?" max asked sitting down next to you so did Libby, "hm...how about...a volcano?" you asked, "sure, why not?" Max said, "that's a great idea y/n!!!" Libby said, you smiled slightly at Libby's bubbly persona. timeskip, after talking and discussing with Libby and max , you grew quite fond of them , (bell rings) you heard the bell and realize was lunch time, max and Libby were packing their things away and they stood up and we're about to walk off, but max stopped and looked at you, "you coming?" She asked , you nodded and got up and walked with them out the classroom and into the busy halls, the three of you walked through the halls , all though it was busy, people seemed to step outta the was when they saw max , it was strange, but you weren't complaining at all, at least you didn't have to push through anyone, you and Libby were speaking to each other, max spoke now and then , she seemed to prefer to listen than speak to much, suddenly you saw someone bump shoulders with max , you and Libby were caught off guard and once you got a proper glance at the person, you were surprised to see Michael, and to your surprise, max was glaring at him , "the fuck's your problem Michael!?" Max asked angrily, Michael looked at her and gave her an smirk , "I don't have a problem...well... maybe I do" he said, as he chuckled slightly, he got close to her , he mumbled something that you couldn't hear , but once he got a glance at you, he's eyes widened and he got away from max a lil, "h-hey y/n!, didn't see ya there" he said, he seemed a lil nervous, you were still confused about what just happened, before you could say anything, max interrupted you, "fuck off already, nobody has time for your bullshit" she said, as she hardly bumped shoulders into Michael making him fall a lil back, Libby just awkwardly smiled and told you to walk on , you didn't know why, and what the fuck just happened, but you ain't gonna push it with max (if she can knock a teenage boy back...gurl...I wouldn't either), once y'all got to the cafeteria, and got your lunch, you guys sat down and talked some more, you made some jokes, to hopefully ease things, and you even made max laugh, Libby was surprised at this, "woah.. you made max laugh, that's not easy to do" she said, "really? It's not easy?" You asked surprised, "yep, good old maxi here doesn't laugh much, but you... your different" Libby said, you looked over at max and she looked away, a lil pink on her face, "yeah whatever... let's not discuss this... anyways you got plans after school y/n? " Max asked, "nope" you replied, "good...do you wanna hangout after school at my dad's pizzaria?" Max asked now looking at you again, "yeah , sure why not" you said, "good then, the pizzaria is "Fredbear's pizza " Libby said, "I'm curious to see this pizzaria, can't wait " you replied.
