chapter 9: wanna get even?

max was dragging out the door, you had to walk faster to keep up, eventually she stopped dragging you and released you, you rubbed your wrist a lil, max noticed this her eyes softened a lil, and her angry expression went away, "did I drag you too hard?" max asked, you nodded, you could see the guilt in her face, "sorry..." She said, "it's fine... don't sweat it" you said with a reassuring smile, she relaxed a lil, and you guys continued walking to the skate park, max was quiet the whole way, of course Libby talked the whole way, you listened of course...but your focus was on max, why was she so upset? what was it with Michael? you honestly didn't know, but you didn't wanna bud in with her personal business, so you kept it to yourself. Eventually you guys got to the park, it was the same park you had walked through when you first got here, and where you first saw Michael,  you guys went to go sit down on a bench, max was still quiet, but talked from time to time, you could sense Libby's worry, but she didn't seem to say anything about it, you heard music, like an ice cream truck, you turned your attention to it and so did max and Libby, max stood up, "the ice cream trucks here, I'll go get us some" she said, now that max went to go get you three ice cream, you and Libby were left alone, so you hesitantly decided to ask the question you've been asking yourself all day, "hey Libby?" You said, "yeah, y/n?" Libby said, "can I ask something?" You asked, "sure, what?" Libby said, you took a deep breath in and exhaled, "why does max not like Michael?" You asked, "oh that... it's not really my place to tell" Libby replied , "oh...I understand" you said, before Libby could say anything, max called out to you two, she needed help with carrying the ice cream, you two reluctantly went to her, you and Libby took your ice creams and you guys went back you the bench, max seemed a lil more cheered up, you guys talked and you managed to make max laugh again with one of your jokes. Timeskip, it was about 18:06 pm, the sun was setting and the three of you where on the swings, you actually had fun today, looks like Utah hurricane wouldn't so bad after all... you could sense max was still thinking about something...so you decided to ask, "hey max?" you said, "yeah y/n?" She replied, "wanna get even?" You asked, "if you're talking about Michael... what's your idea?" She replied, "I was thinking...how about a... prank?"you said, "I was thinking about whooping his ass...but your idea works too...so fuck yeah let's do it" she said, "good, I've got an idea for a prank already, and it involves soda and glitter" you said, "I'm looking forward too it, but how would we get them in one place?" max asked, "how about at the pizzeria?" You said, "your a genius, of course those mf would be there" max said, "now that we have two things planned, I'll explain the rest, we are going to mix soda and glitter together, get it into a bucket put it into the door, when Michael opens the door it'll spill all over him, and for the others... we'll just spray em with water guns with the same substance In it" you explained, "that sounds about right, great idea y/n" max said, Libby was cautious, but agreed to help, you checked your watch, and your eyes widened, "shit... it's getting late, my dad's gonna kill me!" You said, "yeah it is, we gotta start heading home" max said, your guys stood up and walked up to the parks entrance, you guys said your goodbyes and went your separate ways, the walk would be a lil long for you, but you weren't much bothered.

Hi y'all, I hope you liked this chapter, I know Michael isn't being shown as much as Libby and max...but he will, that's the point of this fic after all, just be patient
