chapter 10: perhaps a moment of peace?

After going your separate ways with Libby and max, you walked with your hands in your pockets, a cold breeze brushing against your face, it was getting darker, you hoped that your dad wouldn't be too mad , the poor guy must be worried sick, but he trusted you to get home in time for dinner. You had walked for about 20 minutes, and you were about halfway home, you couldn't wait till you got into the comfort of your home, finally you had gotten home, you opened your gate and closed it behind you, your eyes wondered, and landed on someone sitting at there poach, you looked carefully and recognized them, it was Michael, he was just sitting on his poach and smoking, you didn't pay much attention to the smoking, he noticed you and waved at you, you waved back and went inside your house. It seemed like the house was empty and silent, you sighed... typical usual night... you went up the stairs and walked to your lil sister's room, you took a lil peak and she was sleeping , you smiled to yourself, but frowned a lil, you had been so busy,  you forgot all about telling her another one of your imaginative stories, she had falled asleep already, you shut her door and walked towards your room, and decided to make a stop at your brother's room, you noticed his light was on and you heard talking, you were curious and took a lil peak , only to see your brother talking on the phone, but he was twilling the cord, and he had sweet smile on his face, you noticed his cheeks were a lil pink, which could only mean one thing...he was talking to someone he likes, you couldn't help but think how sweet this was...but you had a new thing to tease him about, you walked into his room leaning against the door with your arms crossed, you had a small smirk on your face, he noticed you and looked at you, he put the phone down so he could talk with you, "oh..hey y/n" he said , "hey Andy, who ya talking too?" You asked, your smile getting a lil bigger , "oh..no one, don't worry about it" he said, he was definitely sus rn , you didn't buy it once, "oh really?" You said, "yeah really" Andrew said, "I don't believe it, by the way you were twilling that cord and smiling, I'd say... it's a boy, and you like him!" You said teasingly, he's cheeks heated up and his eyes widened, he put I finger on his lip , shushing you "don't say it so loud! " He whisper yelled, after all, the other person was still on the line, you chuckled, "it is, isn't it? " You said, "yeah you caught me" he said defeatedly, "I knew it, is he cute?" You asked, "yep, definitely" Andrew said, "then okay, as long as your happy I'm happy" you said, "thanks n/n ,I thought older siblings were supposed to tease their younger siblings, but your teasing me instead of me teasing you" he said, "I guess it's the other way around then" you replied , Andrew chuckled "well then... goodnight " Andrew said, "nighty night Andy " you said , you left Andrews room and headed to your own room, you plopped down on your bed, you thought about the days events...as you lated there staring at the ceiling....you felt surprisingly calm... perhaps a moment of peace?
