Epilogue

~ 10 Years Later ~

I held my baby girl in my arms and rocked her to sleep.

"Honey, wheres Kayla?" I heard the soft voice of my husband.

"Over here." I whispered.

Kayla Ann Hemmings.

She was now a month old and she was already growing up too fast.

Luke walked into her light pink room and smiled when he saw us.

I gave him and Kayla a quick kiss and handed her to him.

"Hey princess." He said, kissing her smooth forehead softly.

She was already asleep so he placed her in the crib and then wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered.

I felt a blush cover my cheek and then remembered the time when he had first asked me out.

I can't believe we actually lasted for this long.

But I was happy.

We were happy.

Happily married and the blessed parents of a month old, blonde-haired, blue-eyed princess.

This, was our happily ever after.
