Chapter Six

Halloween is this Friday and I haven't gotten invited to any parties. I thought about it and realized that I'd rather not be invited because then, I'd probably just get insulted. Of course the next day I heard about Luke's party, supposedly the biggest party of the year, and everyone is going to be there. "He invited everyone in the school and it's at a ballroom place. Its going to be awesome. Me and you are going to dance like there's no tomorrow. Maybe you and Luke can hit it off more." She winked at me as I sat down on my porch and started playing with a leaf. "You are going.. right?" Maria sounded very concerned but sad at the same time. "Come on! You have to go. No one is going to know it's you if you have a mask on." She had a point, but I still wasn't sure. "You have a point, but I don't know Maria.. Someone is going to insult me. The only people that actually like me are you and Luke. "Hey! Don't talk like that. You need to go. It's Friday! Halloween! Biggest party of the year! And Luke wont know it's you, therefore you can maybe get a kiss, am i right or am i right?" She winked once again. "Maria, you're right. But there's one problem.. I don't have a costume. I don't even have an idea of what to be!" I tried to think off an excuse not to go but the truth came out. I wanted to go, but I didn't have a costume. And that's kind of the whole point of a costume party. "That's what this is for." She pulled out her wallet with her allowence in it. To be clear her allowence was 200 dollars every week. But she didnt go and spend it once she got it... nope. She saved it. So she prbably had around 400-600 dollars in her wallet. "Ohmygod. No way!" I screeched at all the money. "Let's go shopping!" She screamed as we drove off to the mall. We went into every store, and i'm not exageratting. We didn't get something from every store, but I can tell you that we didn't walk out of the mall with just costume. We got to my house and my dad was gone, as usual. We took everything out and managed to find all the costumes we bought. We tried them on and after 2 hours of that, we both managed to find the perfect costume. She was going as a sexy black cat and I was going as her sexy black cat twin. It may seem a little cheesy but we saw a picture of it on Pinterest and couldn't help but take the idea into consideration.

~ Friday Night: Halloween and The Party ~

It was friday night and Maria came over to my house to get ready. I kept the costume at my house so her mom wouldn't freak out at the sight of her costume. I grabbed the cat costumes out of my costume and we both got changed. The makeup we did was different then the usual makeup that we applied. Our makeup was: A wing drawn with liquid eyeliner, volumizing mascara, regular eyeliner on our waterline and a smokey eye. We also put on a light pink lipstick on our lips and made a little pink kitty nose to resemble more of a cat. Lastly we drew whiskers with more eyeliner. We felt like we were ready for the reveal. We turned around and looked into my big mirror. We saw our costume and our makeup, together. "Rawr" we both said sexily and laughed hard.

About an hour later, we were finally all ready and we put on some pure black vans.

We got into the car and drove to the party. "You ready to go in?" Maria asked as we pulled into the drive way. "As ready as I'll ever be, I guess." I replied. When we got to door, there they were. The butterflies. That feeling you get before you know you're gonna fail a test. The feeling you get when you feel like you're gonna puke. It was like happiness and sickness just made a baby and put it in my stomach. We knocked on the door and "It's open!" was our reply. We walked in and all eyes turned on us. I don't know if the looks we were getting were good or bad, but i really hope it was good looks.

Hey guys! I know it past Halloween, but i started writing this before Halloween 2014. So technically last year. But I'm just wondering. Should I make this a long book? Please leave a comment saying wether i should or not. Anyways, I'll go start writing Halloween and Parties Part 2! Byeee!
