Record Store - Calum Hood

Ch.8

Today was the day that Stacy would be packing up Joes things at the store, and handing the keys to us. Well mainly Calum. Joe did ask me to do this with him, I obviously said yes, and Calum and I would have a record store.

"Hey Soph?" Cal said. "I was thinking. Would you maybe want to move in upstairs at the record store with me?"

"Uh.." i trailed off.

"Please? C'mon we can make the record wall that you have, there's working washrooms, kitchen, laundry, it would be amazing. Please? Just the two of us?" He said grabbing my hands. "Please. I really want to do this with the girl I love and no one else."

"Yeah." I said nodding and smiling. "I wanna do this too."

"Yes!" He exclaimed picking me up, and kissing me passionately. "Sophie, I love you so much."

"I love you too." I said putting my hands in his hair.

We headed down to the record store and we saw Stacy put the last box in the car.

"There you kids are. Here's the keys." Stacy said putting them in Cals hands. "Take care of this place please."

"I promise we will, come here any time of day, even if it's three am." Calum said.

"Thanks kids. Have fun." She said hugging us both at the same time.

Stacy drove off in her car, waving until you couldn't see us anymore. It was weird to just have me and Cal here. But I know everything will work out perfect.

"Hey how about tonight, after we close, we can bring stuff upstairs?" Cal asked.

"How about if no one has come in here we close early and get a head start?" I said.

"I like your ideas."

"Yeah so do I."

After a couple hours we only had about three people in. I mean not a lot of people came along because nobody really owned a record player. I still thought they were cool and I bought them.

We both grabbed a couple things to bring to the store. I borrowed my grandparents car, since they only lived a couples houses away, and packed things away. We brought my matress, and Cals couch. I took all my records off the wall and ones in my room, Calum took the records in his apartment and we had a total of about 400 records. Since the upstairs already had necessary items up there. We also decided on no bed frame, and the bed was amazing. Cal put it right by the window so we could look outside when we were in bed.

"This looks absolutely amazing." I said wrapping my arms around Cals waist.

"Yeah I'm absolutely loving this whole thing." He said.

I started hanging up the records I have listened to and the wall was almost completed.

"Hey Sophie?" Cal said.

"Yeah?" I said.

"One more record." Cal said running to a box. "Well maybe two."

Cal pulled out two records that reminded me of when we first met. The Van Halen and Incubus record.

"Aw Calum..." i said in a whisper.

He took the records and hung them up on the wall.

"This.." he said. "Now this is my favourite thing in our house."

"Damn right." I said.

-next night-

Calum, myself and the boys decided to go out to a bar. We got dressed and ready, and Ashton came to pick us all up. Luke and Michael met myself and Calum at the store while Ash got ready at home.

I walked into the bar with Cals hand around my waist. Lots of people dancing, drinking and whatever. We all decided to sit down in a booth and we all ordered a couple drinks. Well I only ordered one.

As the night went on it got more boring. Ash, Luke and Michael went to dance and Cal... was no where to be seen? He said he was going to get a drink and hasn't come back. I went over to Luke and asked if he's seen Calum.

"Luke! Have you seen Calum?" I half yelled on his ear.

"No I actually haven't!" He half yelled back.

I went over to the bar and there he was. Making out with some girl that wasn't me? The anger inside me made me want to scream and never talk to him again. My legs felt like jello and I couldn't move. I shed a couple tears and Luke saw.

"Sophie c'mon lets get you home." Luke said. "I'll be having a talk with Cal."

I followed him out of the bar crying and wanting to throw up. The boy I loved was making out with some girl! I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive him.

Luke walked me back to the record store and stayed with me until the boys got back. I heard the door open, due to the bell, and heavy foot steps coming up the stairs.

"Sophie..." Calum said walking in. "I-I'm s-so s-orr-y." Cal was tearing up.

"Calum you made out with some, some, some girl that you would never remember! When you have a girlfriend right here! Right there! I was there what were you thinking! We moved in together because we love each other! We own this store together because we love each other! Calum you told me you love me."

"Soph-"

"No Calum." I said tears coming out of my eyes. "I'm staying at Lukes for a couple days."

I grabbed my things and headed to the door.

"Sophie I love you!" Cal yelled with tears rolling down his cheeks.

I turned around and walked over to Calum pulling him in and kissing his lips.

"I love you too." I sighed. "Just a couple days please."

After I closed the door I heard a smash. I didn't dare open the door or look back. I did still love Calum with all my heart. And I knew he loved me too. I just couldn't bare to know someone else kissed the boy I love.

I just needed a break.

Calum I'll be back soon.
