***I hope you enjoy the chapter, but I just wanted to let you all know that I'm not sure if I'll be able to upload next weekend because I have a busy week planned out. Sorry about that, but I hope you enjoy this!!!***
Ch.3
“It's okay Lizzy, It's okay,” my mums voice said as I held her head in my lap, my hands and clothes covered in her blood.
“No, no it's not okay mum. I can't let you die. I can't let anyone else die.” tears came down my face as my mum's eyes began to become distant.
“You can't close out people just because of this though. I know you've gone through a lot, but I wasn't you fault he died and it's not your fault that I'm dying.” her pressure on my hand began to loosen and I knew I was losing her.
“I should have been better. I should have known a way to save both of you, I shouldn't have been late getting here.”
“Lizzy, it's my fault, I shouldn't have trusted her, but that doesn't mean you have to push everyone out. Not one thing that has happened was your fault, remember that. I love you Lizzy,” her eyes finally went lifeless, her usual sparkle gone, leaving me bawling over her body.
Footsteps and shouts were coming behind me, gunshots and spells being shot off, but none of that mattered. I had lost Tyler and now I had lost my mum.
I woke up gasping, sweat pouring down my body. As I looked to the guest bed next to me I realized that Sil wasn't in here, which was good, it meant she wouldn't have heard me yelling and crying in my sleep. It was a sign of weakness I didn't like anyone else to see, which was why sharing a hotel room was always so nerve racking to me.
After glancing at the clock and noticing that it was 8 in the morning, I jumped out of bed, grabbed my clothes and went into the bathroom to take a much needed shower. Sil had probably gone out to get breakfast, meaning I at least had 20 minutes before she would get back depending on if she found a place she wanted to buy from.
I threw on a pink, lace playsuit with a ruffle along the corner at the top. I put on lace up black ankle boots with studs along the back. I grabbed a black floral, lace necklace that tied on as well as grabbed a black and blush colored purse.
Just as I got down into the lobby I saw Silvia enter the hotel and wave me over to a table she had chosen, which Dem was already sitting at.
“I see you finally decided to get up,” Sil lightly teased me, trying to resolve the tension between the three of us.
“Yeah, I figured I had slept in later than usual.” I took a seat, grabbing one of the pastries that she was taking out of the bag.
“Look, about last night, I never meant to snap like that at you. It's just that I don't want something to happen to you Liz.” Dem blurted out before grabbing one of the croissants and biting into it before he could blurt out anything else.
“It's fine Dem, I shouldn't have reacted that way.”
“Great, now that that's all settled, lets all eat and get ready to go.” Silvia said digging into one of the pastries.
“Wait, where are we going?” I asked, surprised that she had already planned somewhere to go.
“To the dragon reservoir, I knew you liked dragons a lot, so I managed to reserve us a tour of the place.”
“What was your excuse to get that on such short notice?” Dem asked.
“I just told them that our organization was looking into donating a large sum of money to another organization that we liked. They immediately snatched that story up.”
