***Sorry, I'm going to be out of town for the next two weeks so I'll try to put another chapter up as soon as possible***

Ch.10

“Why would he be there?” my brother growled, pacing back and forth.

“I know, the weird part is that he doesn't even act like he usually does.”

“What do you mean?” he asked, pausing to look at me as I then started pacing. We were way too alike.

“He doesn't threaten us, he usually treats us nicely as if hoping we'll slip up around him. Lately he's been glaring at me and threatening me whenever I'm around him. The worst part is that he knows that Charlie knows. I don't know what to do!” I said, irritated.

“Maybe you should just come back. You shouldn't be there if you don't feel as if you're safe. I don't want that to happen to you.”

“I'm going to go back John, I just wanted you to know that there are some strange things going on at Hogwarts this year.”

“I know, the others have been sending me letters about that too,” he sighed, sitting down on the couch. “I don't want you going back there, Lizzy! Not if you're nervous about all of this too.”

“I'll be fine. Besides, Charlies there.” My mind drifted off to Charlie and the kiss we had shared a few days ago. We hadn't talked about it since, which made me wonder if he thought it was just a mistake and it was just an in the moment thing. Of course, in a way I was relieved as well. I was just afraid of getting into a relationship with everything else going on in my life, especially since I was still having a hard time adapting to all the new people I was now being around.

Charlie had introduced me to Hermione, Ron and Harry, though I was certain Hermione knew who I was. The twins and I had been getting along great. And I had recently met Percy as well since the Minister had arrived yesterday. All in all, I still got a little queasy putting on a fake smile and dealing with all the surrounding me.

“Why don't you just let me go and see what's going on,” John said, standing up as if that was the easiest answer to all of this.

“I don't think that's the best idea,” I told him nervously, not sure whether it was because of everything happening at Hogwarts or rather it was because of Charlie being there.

“And why not?”

“Don't you think that everyone will think it's strange that the two siblings that are supposedly the leaders of a gang that no one can link them to, are suddenly at the Triwizard Tournament. Who do you think is going to get blamed when something bad happens?”

“Maybe they'll think it's just because of Harry Potter's bad luck. You know that some strange things have been happening since he became part of the wizarding world again. It's like all the death eaters have risen with their long forgotten tattoos.” he said with a roll of his eyes.
