Harriette's POV

I woke up extremely excited, today was the first, or even school for that matter. I got up quietly and tip-toed towards the bathroom as quietly as possible trying not to wake up Rowena. It was about 7am, we still had like 2 hrs for school, I just couldn't sleep.

I took a shower and took out a pair if clothes to wear. I thought I'd pick up some clothes for Rowena as well since we practically shared a wardrobe. I picked out an outfit that I knew she'd wear. A folded them neatly and kept the clothes on my bed.

I decided to wake up Rowena since it was already eight. As I walked bedward, without warning she suddenly sat upright huffing, trying to catch her breath. Her long scarlet hair was disheveled and all over her face. She looked terrified, and terrifying at the same time.

"JESUS RENA, YOU SCARED THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME." I screeched

"Im sorry"she stammered.

"Had a nightmare?"

She simply nodded still very shooken.

Rowena's POV

I roamed around in the forest scared but alert, my hand gripping onto my bow keeping the arrow facing towards the ground , ready to  aim and shoot at whatever was following me. My eyes darted around my surroundings, hoping to catch even a glimpse of whatever had been following me.

Suddenly I spotted a flash of silver out of the corner of my eye, I took a sharp turn and held the nock of my arrow to the bowstring , I cautiously drew back my arrow, the bow string tightened as I repeated to myself, recollecting my archery lessons at the castle,  "Nock, draw loose"

Just as I was about to release my arrow and shoot , I caught a glimpse of its face. It was Sidus. Almost immediately I drew back my arrow, retreating. "Sidus??"

As she stepped out of the bushes, slowly approaching me I noticed something off about her. She no longer radiated  an angelic aura, it felt more vile. The way her ice cold eyes stared at me, this didn't feel like the Sidus I knew. A cold shiver ran down my spine. I backed away in fear.  Sidus seemed to have noticed my sudden change in behaviour .

I knew she was the same Sidus, but something had changed about her

I knew she was the same Sidus, but something had changed about her. She flapped her wing dynamically and made her way towards me. She screeched out loud hovering in the air in front of me, ready to attack. My breathing quickened as I felt my heart hammering against my chest. I tried to reach my bow that I'd unknowingly dropped to the ground, but I just couldn't make up my mind to hurt Sidus. I stood  there helplessly trying my best to shield myself with my arms, waiting to be attacked. I closed my eyes but nothing happened. Had she gone? I was too scared to look. I just stayed there silent, scared, waiting. I was shaking and struggling to breathe but nevertheless I decided to put my arms away and face her.
