chapter twelve _reassured

Abby's pov:

I open my eyes to see the sun, I'm in my bedroom, i just woke up so i can't quite see and i feel my eyes buffy too, i try to turn but then i feel something holding my waist from behind me, i look over me to see that's Janessa, i then turn in front of me again, then my face meets someone else's, it's matt, it's the first time i look so closely at matt's face when he's asleep, his face is so close but i don't care anymore, i didn't notice that before but he looks cute when he's sleeping, i gaze more at him then i tap on his nose so he moves a little like a baby, i giggle then i hear a rustling around the room,

i try to get up from under Janessa's hands to see where's this sound coming from, and when i do i see nick and jade sleeping on the ground, nick is face facing the ceiling while jade has his face towards nick and has his left leg on him and his left hand wrapped around him, Nick's asleep but I'm sure he still feels something on him because he's trying to turn but jade wrappes his hand tightly, i hold my mouth trying not to laugh,

but then i feel something looking at me, i look in front of me on the ground, it's chris, he just woke up, he's sitting on the ground, his back's supposed to look at me in the position he's in but he's turning a little to look at me, messy hair and sleepy eyes looking at me, he mouths something, i give him the 'what?' look as i try to read his lips this time, he says 'medicines' , oh right, i do the 'oh!' face and try to get up without waking them up, chris gets up and follows me, when we get out he goes to sit at one of the kitchen island seats, he's not saying anything, he looks cute when he wakes up, i give him a drink holding my laugh, he drinks it silently, i go to grab a seat by him, i was about to take one of my medicines but chris stops me,

"not this one idiot, you're supposed to take this one after lunch" he says as he pulls another one from my medicine box "it's this one" he gives it to me,

"oh" i say as i take it embarrassed,

he finally talked, his morning voice is so different, i take my medicines, then i look over at chris he's looking at me smiling, i smile too, his smile turns into a giggle

"what?" I say smiling from ear to ear cluelessly , I'm just giving him the same energy, he starts laughing, what's so funny?! I wanna know! We both keep smiling and laughing at each other for absolutely no reason at all, i like this vibe, the sun getting in and us drinking a warm drink in the morning, laughing and giggling, i hope these days last, i put my elbow on the table and my cheek in my palm and look at him smiling

"how are you awake so early two days in a row?" I ask , he scoffs

"dummy , it's because of you" he says smiling, looking at his mug and rubbing his finger on it

"huh?" I say as i slowly take my cheek off my palm, he then looks up at me, at my eyes without saying anything, i was going to ask him what he means but then i hear a voice from behind, i look over to see who, it's Janessa, standing at the end of the stairs, she's wearing an oversized t-shirt with a short , her hair is messed and her eyes still look sleepy, why are all my friends cute when they wake up?! She walks to us, barely noticing where she's going, i chuckle as she walks to us, i grab a seat by me for her to sit and then i get up to get her a drink too, i give her the drink but i don't go to sit, i lay both my elbows on the table so now I'm looking at them, Chris's looking at Janessa examining her while she drinks her drink, she puts it down as she looks at him too,

"you look ugly when you wake up" chris says with a poker face and then goes back to drinking his drink ,

Janessa is left with jaw on the ground and offended face, i hold my laugh watching them, i then see nick coming down the stairs, he's frowning holding left shoulder, i guess it's aching because of jade, LMAO.
