there they sat in the lobby, waiting for Mr.choi. they were both tense to say the least, byeol because her mother would kill her; soobin, because his father would kill him. after a while byeol started fidgeting with the hem of her shirt while thinking of a plan on how to escape. she then scooter closer to soobin whispered in his ear: "I have a plan."
"sir, I need to use the restroom, please!" she pleaded with puppy eyes as the cop looked at her unbothered. "pee here," he responded nonchalantly but she began to plead again, making him sigh and finally agree. she smirked in triumph and nodded at soobin, who was more nervous than ready to go with the plan but he had no other choice, did he?
she went into the bathroom, and luckily for her no one was there. she waited for ten minutes. the cop was getting impatient as he began to knock on the door and ask her to hurry. "are you planning arson there? come out already!" when he eventually opened the door, a mop hit him in the nape leaving him unconscious on the floor. she grinned and looked outside to see whether soobin had arrived. to her satisfaction, he was rushing toward her with his long legs. and as soon as he arrived at the scene he cringed at the sight of the unconscious cop on the floor. so she really did that?
they removed the handcuffs with the keys that were with the cop. "we did it!" she whispered. "now we have to escape through the window!" she muttered. she then brought a stool that she found in the last cubicle earlier and called soobin to stand on it.
"now lift me up."she stood in front of him as she spoke, soobin felt the tips of his ears get warm as he gripped her waist and raised her. In a flash, she was at the window where she climbed to the top before leaping to the opposite side. as he was tall and the stool assisted him as well, soobin came next. he didn't require assistance getting up but maybe he did climbing down.
he looked down and hesitated, still sitting on the window sill.
"ehh? you are so damn tall. don't say you're afraid!" she whisper-shouted in disbelief while looking at him with wide eyes.
"uh, no. actually, yes." he chuckled in embarrassment as he scratched the back of his neck, and she facepalmed.
"can you....catch me?" He looked at her with doe eyes,and her jaw dropped in disbelief.
"you tall motherfuc-!" she marched towards him and grabbed his leg, making him jump and scream like a little boy. they heard some noise inside as the cops found out that the two had escaped. "see, now they know we escaped!" she scolded him and couldn't help but smack his shoulder, he whimpered and rubbed his shoulder in response but with no other choice he ran after her. he frantically turned around when he spotted two cops chasing them from behind and getting into their vehicles.
