...

soobin was getting ready to go somewhere. the place he went to a couple of times since he's back from germany. he wore a white shirt and jeans. he threw on his jacket and made his way out of the house, giving his sister and mother a glance, who were so invested in watching the the kdrama that was out recently. he ruffled his hair and looked up at the sky, he grinned at the shiny stars that were reminding him of her. his grin only widened as an idea came to his mind.

she left the house, a dozen of curses escaped her lips as the brisk air touched her skin. she shuddered a little and glared at the tall boy who was waving at her and grinning wildly. he disrupted her little nighttime nap, which made her even more irritated than usual. "what do you want?" she asked angrily, covering her mouth and breathing out to warm her hands.

"let's just go." he smiled, and in a blink of an eye, her hand was held by his big hand in a tight grasp. she crashed her eyebrows together and scrunched her nose as she followed him. a look of distaste on her face.

"what the hell, soobin? are you going to sell me off to some organ traffickers or something?" she questioned, and he laughed at her way of questioning before suddenly halting his steps and pulling her close to him. he leaned in swiftly, and his forehead bumped hers softly, his nose brushing hers, he replied: "maybe?"

his warm breath hit her lips and chin as she widened her eyes in disbelief. she was frozen in her place and staring back at him in surprise before she cleared her throat, stepped back, and pushed him away.

"stop being a creep and answer my question," he shrugged and held her wrist before he started walking again. the girl grumbled as he replied: " 'maybe' was my answer." he looked back at her over his shoulder and flashed her a sweet smile, which only made her features twist into a visible cringe.

"be more specific, choi." she stated, irritated by his behavior. "you're going to have fun, trust me." he winked at her and continued walking. the girl sighed in defeat and stared at his back blankly. then they arrived at a place byeol least expected.

a tent. a tent that was almost glowing.

inside the tent, it was warm and cozy, people scattered around on the tables. the aroma of the rice and soup filling the air. the loud laughter and warm murmurs only making the atmosphere more lively.

volunteers were lining up to help out. some were organizing food; others were handing it out to those in need. byeol watched as a small child stepped forward, eagerly accepting a bowl of warm rice. the child looked up at the volunteer with big eyes, thanking her with a shy smile.
