Chapter Thirteen

Carolina's POV
Jace just texted me a picture that Matt posted. I was like " what the hell." I then texted Matt and asked him why he posted that picture . He said "oh I.... I don't know." I texted Jace again and said " I'm just going to ignore it." He said " ok."
Jace's POV
I handed back Xander's phone and went up to my room. In my room i watched Netflix for like 2 hours and then texted Carolina. I asked her if she wanted to go to the beach tomorrow.
She said " yea I do."

Carolina's POV
I woke up around 7 and i went downstairs. ( my house just got renovated so all the rooms and hallways are longer.) I headed into the kitchen and saw mom cooking pancakes. Good morning honey. " hi mom." My mom put some pancakes on a plate and slide it down the counter. I then told her that Jace asked me to go to the beach. She said sure go have fun.
I finished eating an led went to my room to pack my bag. I found my beach bag and I had to search through all my closets to find the perfect bikini. I found it and put it in my nag. While I was doing that Jace texted me.

the blonde guy 😏- hey babe 💖. We're coming to pick you up in like 5 mins.
me - ok.

Jace's POV
We drive up to Carolina's driveway and picked her up. Then we went to beach. It was like 80 degrees today so right when we got to the beach I ran down. I found the perfect place to lay down the towels then I ran into the ocean.
Carolina was just walking down and when she laid her towel down she just sat there putting on sunscreen. I ran up to her from behind and picked her up bridal style and threw her in the water. When her head was up she was pushing her hair out of her face and she have me a grin. I just laughed. Carolina got up and jumped on my back trying to push me in the water, but that didn't work.
Carolina's POV
While I was trying to get revenge on Jace I saw someone familiar walking down in the sand ~ it was Emma and her friends. I turned to Jace and said " Emma here." giving him an annoyed look. He said " great 😒." Then he said " she isn't going to ruin our day." lifting my chin up with his finger.
Then right when Jace was leaning in, Emma came walking in like she was here with us. She was like " oh hi Jace" ~ shoving me out of the way. I rolled my eyes. Jace just said " oh hi Emma, I didn't see you there." Then I said " oh Emma, did you just get here?" Emma said " yea I did ~ flipping her hair ( she's trying to flirt but it wasn't working.) Then I grabbed Jace's hand and walked away. While we were walking to our towels I said " I just can't take that girl 😒" Jace said " I know right."
Jace's POV
When we were sitting on our towels Carolina said she was getting tired so she cuddled next to me and rested her head on my chest. I started playing with her hair. 30 minutes later my mom called and said she was in he parking lot. Carolina was still sleeping so I packed up all our things and picked up Carolina bridal style up to the car.
