Friends or More?

Chapter 25

Jace's POV
I'm pacing back and forth with my hands on the back of my head. I'm waiting for the doctor to tell us if Lina's ok. Riele,Ella, Sean are all here. I see a doctor come and he asks for Lina's parents. Her parents get up and talk to him. They finish talking and come up to me. They say " Jace, the doctor said that Lina can have visitors." I feel excitement inside me. I nod and walk to Lina's room. I breathe and open the door. I open the door and see Lina lying still on the bed. I feel tears roll down my cheeks ~ I hold them back. I rush over to her side and stroke her cheek. I whisper " I'm here for you babe." I take Lina's hand and I feel her squeeze it. I let go and run out of the hospital. I rush out and looks for my car. I hear Sean tell me name but I ignore him.
           I find my car and get in. I turn the car on and drive out of the parking lot. I pass Sean and see he go on his phone. He calls me but I decline it. I drive to my house and go to my house. I lock my door and close the blinds. ( A/N you can see Lina's house from there window) I lay in my bed and try to think. I can't get my thoughts together. I get up and look through the window. I flashback to a few days before ~ me and Lina would sit in her backyard with Blue. I gasp and say "Blue..." I climb out of my window and climb into Lina's balcony. I slide the window and yell " Blue?, come here boy." I hear a collar and see Blue run up to me. He looks at me and tilts his head. I pick him up and say " you're coming with daddy for a while." I go downstairs and grab all Blue's things. I take Blue and walk back to my house.
** 2 weeks later **
Riele's POV
       I get out of the car and walk into the studio. I go to my dressing room and change. I grab my script and go to set. I get there and see Jace pacing back and forth. I walk up to him and say "what are you doing Jace?" Jace jumps and says " huh?" I said " what are you doing?" " oh, thinking." " why?" "cause....  Lina woke up!" ~ he whispers. " what?!" Jace nods and comes closer to me. " her mom called me last night and said that she woke up and asked for me." I smile and and say " that's great but why are you thinking?" " oh. You know how he homecoming for Nick is coming up." I nod and Jace says " so I'm thinking , I'll make a scavenger hunt and at the last place I'll have a huge banner that says "will you go to homecoming with me?"
Then Jace says " can you help me?" I nod. Right then Dan yells "places!" We get into our places and practice our lines. We record it and we finished 3 scenes. I go back to my changing room and see a note on the door. I pull it off and open it. It says "meet me in the lounge at 4:30." I go in my room and change. I look at my phone and see its 4:25. I rush past Ella's room and she swings open her door. She joins me and says " you going to the lounge too?" I nod and we run to the lounge. We get there and see the rest of the cast talking. We sit and Jace says " so, you guys are here so you can help me with the scavenger hunt clues and places." We all nod and Jace says "so this is what we're gonna do........."
** at he hospital **
Lina's POV
I wake up and see my mom and dad next to me sleeping. I push myself up on the pillow and see I'm in a hospital room. I grab the clipboard and read the description: Carolina Durante ~ fainted ~ nervousness. I gasp and think " I fainted?!" My mom moves and wakes up. She stands up and walks to me. She smiles and strokes my cheek~ she says "how you feeling?" I shake my head and say" fine." I flashback to the lunch where I left and Brittanie picking me up. I feel dizzy and lay down. I hold my hand out and say " where's Jace?" " he's at work." " can you call him?" " sure honey." My mom takes my phone and calls Jace. The phone rings and he finally picks up.
ringing ......
J- hello?
L - hey
J - Carolina?!
L- yea, I'm at the hospital
J- I know. I missed you so much. Like crazy.
L- ** I try to laugh but it hurts ** are you coming later?
J- yea . In like 10 minutes, I'm driving.
L- ok,love you
J- love you too.
hang up......
** 10 minutes later **
I was laying in bed when the door burst open. I push myself up and see Jace with 5 thousand balloons and flowers. He walks up to me and kisses me. I put my hands on his face and smile. He puts the flowers the desk and he ties the balloons to the chair. He sits next to me on the bed and lays his head on my lap. I put my hand on his head and say " thanks for the balloons." "welcome, you're my girl~ I love you."
**1 week later **
Jace's POV
      I get up and look at my phone. It's April 21. I get out of bed and get my laptop. I open it and FaceTime Riele and Skype Sean. I talk to them for an hour and end the calls. Right then Lina calls me and asks if I wanted to hang out with her. I say sure and to meet me at our special place at 12. I put some clothes on run downstairs. I run into my sister. She says " whoa, Jace where you going?" " uh, downstairs." " ok,why are you running?" " I need to get to the park cause I need to get ready for the scavenger hunt I made for Lina." "ohhh, a scavenger hunt. Homecoming ?" " yea." ~ I nod.
        I go to the kitchen and find Xander eating pancakes. I pat him on the back and say " happy 19th bro." He laughs and says " don't be so nice." I shrug and eat my breakfast. I finish and grab my penny board and the banner. I text the cast and tell them to meet me in the park in 5 minutes. I look at the time and see its 12:35. I run out the door and skate to the park. While I skate I'm thinking " will Lina like it ?"
