I'm actually a comedian.

"I know what you're thinking, dramatic much? But in that moment the only thing that was going through my mind was 'You bought that pillow with her. You can't lose that.' So yeah, that's why I started crying... and cus falling hurts... Wait, who am I talking to?"

I placed the bag down beside the clothes I'd previously tipped out of it. After unloading my few items from home, I put the clothes back inside the bag.

While putting my pillow down on the couch, feeling a slight guilt that I was taking the families living room from them, I heard talking outside.

"You two should stay right here for like... Five minutes, talk about being married or something, just don't come in for a couple of minutes." I heard Kuzco saying, before hearing someone enter from the back door.

He walked toward me, but stopped at a kind of awkward distance. The air was silent between us for a second before he cleared his throat and started talking.

"I want to..." He stopped, clearly he hadn't had enough character development to apologise properly yet, "I shouldn't have mistaken your pillow as something I owned... It doesn't meet royal standards."

I smiled, "I accept your apology."

"I wasn't-"

"You were. Close as I'll get from you anyway..." I sighed slightly, "I'm sorry too."

"I know. You already said that, remember?"

"Yes, I remember. You can't muster up an apology, I can't stop apologising for things, okay? I said.

"Okay..." He briefly looked away, "So... What's the deal with the pillow anyway?"

"I-" I paused, preparing myself, I hated talking about her but it was relevant, "I got this when I was ten, I was out shopping with my best friend. We eventually drifted and it quite literally tore a piece of my soul out. She was the only person I ever, ever, trusted with anything... I..." I trailed off, I couldn't admit it out loud, not yet anyway- even if it had been six years since we parted.

"Yeesh, now I feel really bad."

"You asked, I told."

After that positively touching moment, things continued the way they'd been scripted to. The training montage continued, which I'm just going to add never involved going to school. I did though. I got bored.

Friday rolled around and he actually walked to school with me... well he kinda jogged ahead of me. I could have jogged too, I just didn't want to.

After a couple of averagely normal classes, it was lunchtime. Yay.

Not wanting to potentially mess up the scripted events any more than I already had, I just followed Malina around. Consensually, I wasn't stalking her. She knew I was there. But that girl is busy. She just does things, you know? Like who wants to be in that many clubs? It's not right.
