"Nii-chan! You're back!" Shigeru exclaimed once he saw Tanjiro.
Shigeru, Hanako and Rokuta all ran to greet Tanjiro. They all tackled Tanjiro in a hug.
"He-hey! Get off of him!" Takeo yelled from the coalshed.
"Ah Tanjiro, you're back." Kie smiled when she stepped outside.
"Mhm."
"Nii-chan! Can you read for me now?" Hanako asked.
Tanjiro chuckled. "Of course."
The evening went smoothly. Tanjiro read to Hanako, Shigeru and Rokuta while Takeo decided to help Nezuko brush her long hair. Kie prepared their supper.
"Tanjiro, Nezuko, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta. Come eat."
"Okay!"
"Comming!"
As the family ate, the house being filled with occasional laughs, something or someone watched from the shadows. As the happy family began getting ready for bed, the creature approached, moving from shadow to shadow. Soon the creature was right behind the door.
Tanjiro suddenly covered his nose, loooking like he needed to throw up.
"Nii-chan, are you okay?" Hanako asked.
Tanjiro's eyes widened.
"Watch out-"
[CRASH]
Blood. Blood everywhere. Corpses.
"No... Mom.... Ha..nako.... Shi..geru... Take..o... Ne..zuko... Roku...ta..."
