"Aww, Love Now's already finished" Minami sighed, a little dejected by the fact. But her sight caught the blonde girl sitting beside her in the classroom.
"Hey, how'd you feel seeing your big bro's kiss on the show?" Minami asked, curious to here her friend's thoughts about the situation.
"How did I feel..?" Ruby glanced at her, her fingers interlocked and she looked quite disturbed. "Could it be anything but super mixed emotions?"
"Yeah, I bet..."
"It was five times more awkward than the kiss scene on that sibling TV series" Ruby spoke with a whine, folding her arms on her desk to bury her face in them.
"Yikes!" Minami squealed at her comparison.
"I bet you'll have to meet Akane eventually, huh?" The pin-up model pointed out. She looked away with her eyes closed, her index finger raised "I mean, she is your brother's girlfriend"
"Girlfriend.." Ruby repeated with a mumble. 'But.. Onii-Chan's feelings towards Akane are surely..'
"Are you talking about Love Now?" A sudden and more formal voice had spoke up from behind the two girls, making them turn their heads.
"Um, yeah" Ruby nodded her head, snapping out of her thoughts. Behind them was Frill Shiranui, a multi-talented entertainer.
"So you knew about it too, Shiranui?" Minami asked, a little surprised.
"I know two people in the cast, after all. It was entertaining" Frill answered simply.
"You don't need to be so considerate" Ruby assured, a close eyed smile on her face.
"It was full of hot guys and beautiful girls... Ripe with eye-candy" Frill then commented without a change in her tone. But even then, this threw the girls off their guard.
"Eye-Candy?!" Both girls exclaimed.
"So even celebs say that kinda stuff..." Minami mumbled to herself, her eyes widening.
"No one hates good-looking people, right?" Frill seemed to have heard it, however. Given how she gave a rhetorical question. "It truly was easy on the eyes. I feel like my vision improved by 0.5 or so"
'She's actually funny?!' both girls looked flabbergasted by the thought.
"I do wish Memcho could have been more front-and-center" Frill confessed, crossing her arms and turning herself away for her back to face them. "Had I been one of the male cast members, I totally would've pinned her down"
Frill placed her fingers on her cheek, still thinking "I was constantly thinking, 'Get serious and win that girl over'"
Ruby and Minami were still processing how different Frill seemed off-screen. Though, then again, they've heard some guys tend to see funny girls as rivals rather than falling for them.
