... Days later... At a cozy cafe with very few people enjoying themselves in their silence and work, Kiyoshi was seated by the table outside the small building with Ruby, who had managed to find her in the area.
The dark haired girl didn't mind that the blonde invited herself, even paying for her drink since she came unexpectedly. Now they sit by each other, talking whilst people wall past them.
Kiyoshi drinks from the straw, listening to Ruby explain her reasoning of being here and why she had went to find where she was rather than just simply chatting her through text.
A simple request fell from the blonde girl's lips, and her friend finds herself being a little surprised by it.
"You...want me to be a cosplayer for the show..?" Kiyoshi repeated her request with a slightly tilted head, eyebrows raised from interest in whatever Ruby may have planned.
Ruby nods with a smile, "Yup!"
"'Dig Deep' is planning to do a segment on cosplayers next! I thought this could be a good chance for you to appear!" The idol answered and explained, her finger raised to gesture.
Kiyoshi's face only shows confusion, holding her shake with both hands. Though, yes, it is a good time for anyone to appear on such a popular becoming show, there were still many things to consider and question.
She gave a small curl of her lips, scratching the side of her chin "Ruby... You said the show's going to focus on cosplayers"
Ruby nods, not seeming to pick up what she was putting down.
"... I'm not a cosplayer.." Kiyoshi said truthfully, no filter nor hiding. She places the truth down for her to take.
However, Ruby only continued to stare at her silently. That was enough to make her friend sweat drop at the lack of reaction.
Kiyoshi sighs, continuing to speak "I don't think I can do that without experience. I only know the basics.. Wouldn't it be better to ask the ones with knowledge or love for cosplay?"
"Well, yeah. Obviously..." Ruby agreed, her lips dropped from it's smile to a pout "But the production isn't making much progress in their negotiations! And Minami-Chan will be doing it with us too!"
Kiyoshi blinks at that fact, letting the blonde run her mouth. She hadn't expected Minami, a gravure model, to be part of this program's segment.
'Come to think of it...'
She was quite sure that she and herself shouldn't count. So if Minami had agreed, that only meant one thing.
"Ruby.. Isn't that pretty much lying... ? You're portraying us as cosplayers. It'd be pretty risky to do that.. " The dark haired girl decided to query with a finger scratching her cheek, her smile small and a little reluctant to take the offer.
