Jennie and Mia sat down at their usual table at the cafeteria and set down their food. As usual, Jennie had a lunch box made by the maids and so did Mia. They talked about random things until the issue of Riley and Jimmy came up.

"You will not believe what happened yesterday," Jennie said, laughing as she took a sip of her drink.

"What? You finally dumped Jimmy?" Mia responded, a smug smile on her face to show how the idea would gladden her heart.

Jennie rolled her eyes.

"No, but after yesterday? He might just dump me alright,"

"Why?"

"Well, let's just say that the wife found me with Jimmy while we were having that conversation," Jennie responded as she nonchalantly ate her chips. Mia's eyes widened before she burst into laughter, which made Jennie also chuckle a bit.

"Girl don't laugh, I almost pissed myself because of fear," Jennie admitted, her eyes scanning everyone in the cafeteria. She spots Jimmy sitting with his friends and soccer teammates. Their eyes meet and the boy turns to his friends to say something, then he stands and approaches their table.

"Jimmy's coming, play nice," Jennie warned her friend as she gave her a look. Mia rolled her eyes and sat up in her sit, stuffing food into her mouth to stop herself from saying anything.

"Ladies," Jimmy greets them with a smile, his eyes looking at Mia before they settle on his girlfriend.

"Hey," Jennie greets him, a small smile setting itself on her lips. She felt no butterflies for the boy anymore but had gotten so comfortable with their relationship to end it. Jimmy was sweet, kind and caring, and when he wasn't too busy partying or in soccer practice, he showed her attention. To a girl like Jennie who had never had any real partner before, that was more than enough.

"Jen, I was hoping we could continue that talk again when classes end," he said. Jennie nodded.

"Sure. My last class is in the first floor," Jennie responded, looking down at her food before looking up at him again.

"Cool. See you then," Jimmy said, moving to Jennie's side to peck her cheek before walking back to his table. As soon as he was far from them, Jennie's smile dropped. She rolled her eyes and continued eating her food, stopping when she looked at her friend to see her giving her a curious look.

"What?"

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

"That! You literally put up a fake 'smitten girlfriend' act," Mia pointed out, laughing in disbelief.

" You won't understand," Jennie responded, looking down at her food as a small blush showed on her face. The girl was falling, and she was falling hard. The question is- falling for who?

                         .......

Max drove to Layla's house and decided to let himself in since she and Riley never knock unless on days when their friend has company.

"Yo Lay!" Max called out as he walked into the house, aiming to head to the kitchen to look for food. He took a beer from the fridge and walked out of the room, aiming to look for his friend in her room.

He heard angry shouting of voices and decided to just sit down on one of the couches in the lounge.

A few minutes later, a blonde woman came rushing into the room, shouting and ranting in anger with layla on her tail.

"I'm sorry, okay?" Layla apologised as she followed the woman.

"A total waste of my time," the blonde stated angrily as she put on her t-shirt and stopped by the door to put on her shoes. Layla sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose in frustration, already giving up on begging the woman.

Max looked at them in shock and confusion, too scared to say anything that might anger both women. Abruptly leaving the house, the girl banged the door behind her. Layla wasn't too bothered about the gate. She always left it open during the day, which is something Riley always scolded her for, but she did it anyway.

"What was that about?" Max asked, chuckling as he looked at his half naked friend. Layla gave him a glare and walked towards him.

"Hey! I was drinking that," He whined, frowning as Layla took the last of his beer and chugged it all down, putting the bottle on the table with so much force that it almost broke, sending loud noises to the quiet room. She sat back on the couch and closed her eyes before they opened, looking at Max.

"Why aren't you at work?" she asked, which made Max's frown to deepen.

"It was a short day today, and don't try to change the topic. What the hell was that?"

Layla sighed, looking away in embarrassment.

"Well, it's kind of embarrassing," she admitted. Max sighed in understanding.

"I'm your friend, what's there to be embarrassed about with me?" Max asked, moving forward to better look at his friend. Layla looked at him then, her blood boiling with both frustration and unquenched arousal.

"We were hooking up and, you know,"

"Yeah yeah, the nasty," Max  chuckled, nodding his head in understanding. "Then what?"

"During the... deed, I might or might not have moaned out someone else's name... twice," Layla admitted, burying her face in her hands in embarrassment.

Max laughed, slapping one of his palms on his forehead as he said, "Oh no. Now that's a real flop."

"I know," Layla groaned, rubbing her temples in frustration.

"Well, who's name did you moan out then?" Max asked, his curiosity rising as he looked at her.

"You'll just laugh at me," Layla responded, sitting back on the couch and closing her eyes.

Before Max could respond, Riley walked in the room looking puzzled and confused.

"Guys, why the hell did I just see an angry looking woman driving out of here like one on a mission to kill? The woman almost knocked my car off the road" she said, moving to sit next to Max, her eyes looking at Layla's half naked body in confusion and a mixture of lust before looking away, choosing to focus on Max instead to avoid any unwanted sensations.

"And why the fuck is she half naked?" Riley questioned again, looking at Max as if he's the one with the answers.

"They were having sex and then Lay-" Max tried to explain but was cut off by Layla.

"But I told her I wasn't looking for anything serious so she got angry," she jumped, giving Max a glare before looking at Riley who was now looking at her in confusion.

"Why would you two talk about that during sex?" Riley asked, even though she didn't really believe the story.

Max stayed quiet as he frowned at Layla, annoyed at having being interrupted with a lie, but also having the answer to his previous question.

"You know how women can be sometimes," Layla said, chuckling awkwardly as she tried to end the conversation.

"Oh?" was all that left Riley's mouth as she sat back on the couch, locking eyes with the half naked Layla who couldn't help scanning her, the act making the other woman even more aroused, which showed in how uneasy she became, failing to stay still on the couch.

"I uh- I'm gonna go freshen up and uh- get dressed," she said as she stood up and rushed out of the room. Riley and Max looked at each other.

"She messed up," Max said before they both laughed.
