The next morning, Jin woke up in Taehyung's arms, his face nestled against the alpha's chest.

" Yes, " Jin's heart ached at the sight of Taehyung breaking down like this.

" You're pregnant? Is it mine? " Taehyung's gaze was fixed on Jin's face, searching for answers. Instead, Jin remained silent. What could he possibly say?

" Did you tell anyone about what happened last night? " Jin finally asked the question that was weighing down in his mind,

" No, I didn't, Jin," Taehyung replied, his voice filled with concern, although he did tell jimin. But jimin is the sort of person that'll take the words to his grave.

" I'm not sure if the child is mine or not. I'm not going to assume anything. But if it's causing you this much pain that you resorted to harming yourself, you don't have to go through with this pregnancy. Especially when you're not ready. I'll be here to support you, "

Jin's growl at the mention of abortion was fierce. He would rather end his life than put himself through that.

" You want me to abort our pup?" he asked. The thought alone was unbearable,

Taehyung's chest tightened upon hearing Jin's confirmation that it was indeed his child. He bit his lip, holding back tears, " Yes, if it means risking your mental and physical health, I don't want it. I'm sorry for implying this, but your well-being should be the top priority. "

Jin's tears flowed freely, " I don't want to abort it, but I'm scared. I know I'm not mentally stable to have a child. But I don't want to end it's life either, I won't be able to live normally. The

" But if you're going to nurture the baby in your belly for nine months," Taehyung said, patting Jin's belly gently, " I need you to realize you have a huge responsibility. This child will rely on you for their entire life. Not just until they turned eighteen. You need to prioritize yourself and then the child. If you can promise me that, I'm in this with you. I'll make sure no one stops you or interferes in your decision."

Jin contemplated Taehyung's words.
" You'll take care of the pup? " he asked, his brow furrowing. " Will you take the pup away if I never help myself out of this turmoil? "

Taehyung gently pressed his palm against Jin's forehead to soothe him.
" No, I'll be there for the child emotionally, financially, anything you call it, so you don't get overwhelmed. You can work on yourself at your own pace. It'll still be your child, and it'll still be with you, and I'll be looking after it."

Then, Taehyung brought up a question that had been on his mind, " Also, Seokjin, where do we stand
as a couple? "

Jin sighed, " There's no ' us.' We'll be co-parenting after the divorce, " He knew Taehyung had a different plan in mind, but he wasn't in any state to entertain such thoughts. He had too much on his plate already.

" I impregnated yoy Jin, it's not a consequence first of all, it's a blessing, okay? And we both are equally responsible for it. You don't have to be 'up to par' or meet any of my expectations. Just be yourself and be happy. That's all that matters. Focus on the baby and yourself. I'll be here to make things easier for you," Taehyung reassured him.

Taehyung yearned to feel the pup and scent it. His alpha was overwhelmed with happiness, even though he hadn't planned for a family at this moment. He had always dreamed of having his own little family, having grown up without one.

" You can feel it and scent it," Jin said, guiding Taehyung's hands to his belly.

" I'm yet to go to the doctor. I took too
many pregnancy tests to be unsure. The pup is there, and it's probably hanging on to life after what I did to it, " Jin's voice wavered as he admitted his guilt.

" It's alright. You're okay, I'm here. The pup is okay, too. Let's hope for the best. Also, Seokjin, it might be a good idea to get in touch with a therapist. You don't have to settle for a local one. You can find a therapist outside Korea. It'll be more comfortable for you. " Taehyung suggested, his hand still resting on Jin's tummy, his smile filled with warmth.

" I'll think about it, i do need help with navigating things right now," Jin replied, feeling the warmth envelop his entire being.
