The news of their upcoming appearance in the film sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry.

Their Fans were delighted, and critics were equally excited to witness the upcoming movie, starring two of the countrys' star actors.

Shooting for the film commenced shortly after their last encounter in the CEO's office, and posters were released the following month,

Now, only one month, December, remained until their wedding, and Taehyung surprisingly maintained good behavior in public. In private, they had no interactions, their managers appointed by the company made sure of that,

Jin didn't have an issue either, as long as the Alpha refrained from uttering nonsense.

The film's shooting would soon conclude, thankfully. However, unbeknownst to them, a harrowing experience awaited them today.

" After you both are done, the director would like to see you in his office, " a staff member informed them.

Upon finishing their scene, they sluggishly made their way to the director's office. The shooting period had been grueling. Jin's father, an exacting director, allowed no room for flaws,

" Could you please use scent blockers when you come to work? "  Taehyung sneered at the overpowering scent of the omega.

" Could you mind your own business for once? " Jin retorted, " Also, you have no right to tell me what to do."

" In just a month, I'll have control over you," Taehyung taunted,

He knew this wasn't his typical behavior, but Jin always seemed to bring out the worst in him.

Arriving at the director's office, they stood glaring at each other at the door.
" You think I'll let you trample over me after we're married? Let's see, " Jin challenged.

" Not me, Omega, you'll see, " Taehyung chuckled and knocked on the door.

" Come in if you're done bickering, " the director's voice called out.

As they entered, the atmosphere felt suffocating, and both knew that whatever the director had to say wouldn't be pleasant.

" As we're nearly finished with shooting, we'll soon announce the wedding date. Furthermore, I expect both of you to reside together. You'll also exchange marks during the ceremony," Jin's scent soured upon hearing his father's words.

" I can endure everything except being marked publicly by him. It's not even about him. Our marriage is temporary. I can't have him mark me. It will take years for it to fade away, and it'll hurt, " Jin lamented, realizing his father's ulterior motives, to trap them in this unbreakable bond for a time being, for a good show in front of the public.

"I won't mark him if he doesn't agree to it," Taehyung interjected, interrupting the tense father-son exchange.

" You will mark him. It's in the NDA contract you both signed, " the director dropped the bomb, leaving both of them stunned.

" You forged the contract. What else have you done? Are you even sane? " Jin yelled at his father,

" Goddammit. " The director yells back at his son, " Taehyung, could you please leave us alone for a moment? " Alpha didn't want to leave, sensing something amiss, but whatever was happening was none of his business. So, he reluctantly departed, heading home to get some much-needed rest.

When the third part leaves, Jin's father spats, " How dare you yell at me in front of him, you swine! " A slap landed on Jin's cheek, making it sting, " You piece of shit! I asked so little of you in return for all I've provided! "

"You did nothing for me," Jin spits at his father's face. Rage coursed through his veins, and tears threatened to fall, but he held them back. He was exhausted from all of this.

" Did you just spit on me? I told you not to do this, didn't I? " his father grabbed his jaw, and another harsh slap struck his face. His ear rang before he passed out from the intense pain in his ear.

The next morning, Jin awoke in his bed. Fortunately, there was no schedule for the day, so he could rest at home and tend to his swollen cheeks.

A month passed swiftly. Shooting had concluded, and news of their impending marriage had broken the internet once again.

The official company statement claimed they had fallen in love during the filming period, a cliché plot that made Jin chuckle. If anything, his hatred for Taehyung had deepened during the filming period.

Their wedding was just a week away, and there was no sign of Taehyung. Their belongings had been moved to a shared apartment by the company's staff. Jin decided not to sell his current apartment. He might need it again in a few months. He also was in the process of building a house for himself, which he didn't pause.

At times, he wondered what Taehyung was up to these days. He had seen in the news that Taehyung had been spending time with his friend Park Jimin again.

" What if they're together, and because of my father, they'll have to endure separation? " Jin mused as he brewed himself a cup of coffee, his solace. Whenever he needed to relax, he turned to coffee, it had become an addiction.

" There's not much I can do if they're actually together, " Jin acknowledged.

" It's not as if we're getting married for real, but we will mark each other, "

He had developed a habit of talking to himself and overthinking, as he had no family or friends. Despite his kindness and approachability, no one had extended a hand of friendship to him, no matter how hard he tried.

At some point in his life, he stopped thinking about making friends and focused solely on his career. Job after job, he had no time to think about anything else.

However, lately, he had grown bored of his job as well. Perhaps this marriage would at least be a new source of worry for him. He was weary of worrying and thinking about the same things for such a long time.

He wished he could disappear into thin air, never return. To quit everything. He had enough money now to live alone in some distant land.

Yet, at the same time, he longed for companionship and affection. He yearned for a family of his own, someone he could call his own. Perhaps that's what he truly desired,

to be happy and loved for once.
