Chapter 18 | Butterflies & Step Mom

THIRD PERSON'S VIEW

4 months later Haerin and Danielle were one of the cutest couple's on the school, Haerin was still the star of the basketball team and also was one of the most best dancer and ome of the most attractive one as a girl like her

While Danielle got more attention after her 23rd sponsor this time was by gucci, she had 34 million followers on insta and was getting more famous to korea and also the other countries

As they both had a little time of talking to each other because they were busy of their selves, they only had small talks mostly at lunch

Danielle felt kind of lonely and misses Haerin, while Haerin was slowly getting confused of her thoughts

This day was gonna change Danielle will talk to her fully now

HAERIN'S POV:

Should i talk with danielle she's busy though idk ill think about it bu-

"Haerin your dozing of dear" Miss nayeon says making her sigh "Sorry miss nayeon, just lost in my thoughts"

"Haerin if you wanna talk to your girlfriend than go" she says wiping off the things she wrote on the board making me guilty

"But-" "Haerin" she looks at me smiling making me sigh and nod standing up and immediately leaving the room

Miss nayeon was my tutor she was like my own mother, she was kind she knows when im down

I clench my fists and look around the school, i walk up to the rooftop and see Danielle on a bench and leaning back on the wall asleep

I chuckled at her cuteness i walk up to her and saw how tired she is, i sat down beside her and her head fell on my shoulder

I smiled as she was cutely sleeping, i slowly take off my jacket and place it on her

After a few minutes she looks up at me rubbing her eyes "mhm"

"Morning sweetheart" Danielle looked up at me gasping, she hugs me "Kitty... i missed you" i smile and hug her back

"I missed you too" she frowns and holds my hand 'i havent kissed her for a long time'

I lean close to her making her stare at me her eyes wide open, i gulped 'what am i doing this isn't even the first time we kissed' i felt butterflies on my stomach, i missed this

I kiss her passionately as she kisses back, her lips with mine its a perfect match as always

After a long kiss i pull away and we both gasp for air, she chuckles "I missed all of this we do, I mostly missed you"

I smile blushing "Oh Danielle, i love you" she chuckles "I love you too Haerin, and whatever happens i will still love you forever and ever"

I smiled and i started tearing up "Dani~" she hugs me and oats my back kissing my cheek as i cried more and more

"Cry baby" she says teasing me, i pull away sniffling and hit her shoulder "i hate you"

"I love you too" she says and laughs, i smile and sniffle more "Mhm"

The bell rings and i stood up "i should go" Danielle grabs my hand and i looked back at her

She kisses me making me blush "Hey.." "See you soon Kang Haerin~" she chuckles and waves bye at me leaving the rooftop

I was left there blushing like a little child embarrassed, i sigh and smile as i walk up back down

YEJI'S POV:

I look at my mom who was coughing so much lately, "Mom you ok?" She nods smiling at me her face looks pale

"Im fine sweetie" i hug her "Mom let me take you to the hospital" she shakes her head as she pulls away

"Im gong to get some rest" i smile at her and get a glass of water "Drink medicine mom" she smiles at me

And grabs her medicine then drinks it, after that i get a notification "Must be your girlfriend, go check on it ill get some rest ok?"

I nod "Hope you have some good sleep mom, i love you" she smiles "I love you too sweetie"

She walks up the stairs to her room making me sigh,  i check my phone and see my girlfriend's chat

"Let's break up" is what i saw first, tears started falling from my eyes as i quickly walk to my room sobbing quietly so my mom doesn't hear it

I lay down my bed and bury my fave sobbing  hardly, i lost the one i loved the most

After a few hours the door opens, it was Haerin "Yeji unnie why are you crying?" She asks i was sitting down on the couch

"Ryujin broke up with me Haerin and i-i" she hugs me and caresses my back as i sobbed on her shoulder

We both walk to my mom's room "Mom haerin is here" my mom wakes up slowly and coughs more

Haerin gave her water and she drinks it, she looked at both of us her face looking more pale

"Its almost time... yeji... you cried why?" my mom says making me tear up more "Mom... ryujin broke up with me.."

She frowns and coughs more while Haerin was silent the whole time holding my mothers hand

"Im sorry... sweetie" i smile at her and wipe my tears "its not your fault" she coughs more

"Y-yeji... Haerin... i love you both, take care of each other" i tear up more and hold her hand "Mom.."

"I will take care of her... Mom" Haerin says smiling making my mom smile back at her

"I l-love you both.." i tighten my grip of her hand, she kisses my cheek and haerin's too

"I love you mom" Haerin nods frowning "We love you" Haerin says, my mom lenas back on her bed and closes her eyes her hand holding mine and Haerin

She stops moving, i felt tears fall down more Haerin stands up and sighs patting my back

"She loved us, we loved her unnie this happens" she sighs "I lost two people i loved mostly.. Haerin" she looks at me smiling

"Yes unnie?" "Dont leave me ok?" I said my voice trembling, she smiles "i will never unnie, even if we are not really sisters and my step mom died in front of my eyes. I feel sad because she took good care of both of us and loved us equally"

She frowns and i pat her back "you've lost so many people you loved, i wish you a happy life with Danielle little cat"

She smiles "thank you unnie, ill call the hospital" i nod staring at my mom

Haerin leaves the room and i tighten my grip on my moms hand sniffing "i couldn't even say goodbye...."
