Chapter 2 | Falling

DANIELLE'S POV:

I ran out of the bus, and looked around before walking on the hallways of the school blushing so hard i stomp my way to our classroom blushing and annoyed.
When i walked in my other friends we're there

"Danielle good mor....ning?" Hanni says confused "what's with the face? Is it hot today or you have someone you like~" Hanni says smirking and my other friends giggling at the back

"S-shut up Hanni" Hanni smiles widely and jumps at me hugging me tight "So you do have someone you like!! Who is it? What's his name? Is he handsome?!"
I push her away from the hug while gasping for air "I won't answer... too much questions and also it a girl" i sat down on my chair they nod Hanni too

"So you guys going to the game tomorrow?" Yunjin says while chaewon is resting on her shoulder they all nod and look at me for my response "What game?" Hanni smacks the back of my head "You don't even study daily like me and you don't even know?"

I shrug "Then lets just change bodies gurl" She sighs "Tomorrow is our school's basketball tournament both genders will be fighting each others" I nod "if you dare think its a boxing match ill punch you" i gulped and look away from Yunjin's glare

"I bet the girls will win again because of Haerin, she's like the ace" Eunchae says Causing me to look up at her "Haerin?" She nods "You don't know her? She's Kang Haerin the best basketball player in the entire school" Euncha added

"Well i suddenly caught her in my arms when she almost fell awhile ag-" My friends screams "What the... my ears chill guys" I say covering my ears "that literally gives k-drama vibes....." Hanni gasps and raises her arm "i ship for Danielle and Haerin" I smack her shoulder

The others raise their hand and i just sighed loudly the bell rang so the others sat on their chairs immediately.

LUNCH TIME

I walked to my locker with Hanni beside me studying, her book on her right hand while her ipad on her left
She looks up at me "What's wrong?"
I looked at her glancing at her ipad and her book "When are you gonna ever stop studying?" "Uhm never" she says with a smile before studying again

I notice Minji and wave at her, she smiles and glances at Hanni and starts to.. blush? Oohh~ "Minji wanna eat lunch with us?" I say grabbing Hanni's arm who's busy studying pulling her with me walking towards Minji.
Minji smiles "I would be honored to... Oh can i bring my best friend?" I smiled before nodding.

Me and Hanni were waiting for Minji's best friend? And her... well maybe im the only because the one with me doesn't care at all

"We are at the table Hanni so would you please, just take a break from that."
Hanni sighs and pats my head "Fine.."

Minji walks towards us with her best friend wait... I stand up and point at her "You!" We both say at the same time
"Yah! Danielle you made me pay on the bus for both of us!" I cross my arms to my chest "Its your fault for pulling me on your lap making me run away fluster-"  i cover my mouth realizing what i said, she just groans she was about to talk more when someone smacks her head

"Haerin unnie, your so noisy you too Danielle unnie" Hyein says coldly i just huffed and sat back down while Hanni and Minji laughing

"Haerin good luck with your game tomorrow you too Minji" Hanni says making Minji blush and smile "Thanks Hanni, good luck on your studies btw"
Hyein just sat beside me and ate her lunch

I start to eat my food when I suddenly glanced at Haerin who's staring at me while drinking her banana milk making me choke on my food. Haerin stood up to give me water but someone gave one to me first..

It was sunghoon he gave me a water bottle i bowed and drank it causing me to look at hyein who's frowning i knew she liked sunghoon and I didn't want to hurt her she's like my own sister BUT I REALLY HAD TO DRINK I ALMOST DIED THERE KANG HAERIN!

My soft gaze suddenly turned to a glare when i glanced back at Haerin making her flinch. Sunghoon smiled at me "ill get going now see you later Danielle" he winked at me i just bowed and after he left i smacked Hanni's arm who's eating while studying

"You didn't help me get him away.." Hanni glances at me "Im bwusy yu shwe" she says her mouth full of food
Hyein already left and i sighed
I glanced at the two infront of me and Hanni, Minji was eating while sometimes glancing at Hanni and Haerin... who's drinking banana milk only?

"Kang Haerin why are you not eating?" I say glaring at her, she just shrugs "Why do you care sweetheart" she says seductively causing me to blush
"She doesn't eat lunch she just drinks banana milk its her favorite actually"
I nod finishing my food

Haerin stands up and sits beside me
"You know your still gonna pay me back dani" Did she just called me dani? "I told you it was you fau-" her face was inches between mine

My heart was beating loudly i was staring at her beautiful brown cat eyes
She's cute, pretty, attractive

She smiles and pats my head "You don't have to pay me back anymore.. just watch me play tomorrow ill be waiting for you to be there, ill be going now sweetheart" She says making me blush so hard

She stood up and left, i was left here alone with the two lovebirds well not really, Minji like Hanni... Hanni doesn't care... "Pham Hanni" she looks up at me drinking her water "notice Minji just this once" she sighs and looks at Minji smiling at her "Minji aren't you gonna leave yet? Your done eating right?"

Minji slightly frowns and fakes a smile "Oh yeah...yeah i got distracted i should go now see you two tomorrow" she says waving bye to us. I sigh and smack Hanni on the back of her head "What the hell" "Your so blind Hanni" Hanni rolled her eyes "That's literally why i have glasse-" i sigh "that's not what i meant.. you know what forget it"

"Sorry dani but i like jake not her" i look at her and sigh "ill get going now see you later Hanni" Hanni nods and waves bye to me.

I walk to the indoor basketball court here on school and notice Haerin playing she turned around making me back away for her to not see me.
Why the hell is my heart beating so fast

Kang Haerin what are you doing to me?
