Chapter 8 | What are we? & Seat mate

DANIELLE'S POV:

After a month of being confused and with Haerin i keep on wondering what our relationship is.... i know she has some feelings to me right?

I walk to my classroom and see Haerin "Hi kitty good morning" she smiles and leans back in her chair "Good morning sweetheart" i sat down beside her and hear bickering and feel stares

"Uhm" she holds my hand under the table "Don't worry" i tightly held her hand back 'i want to tell you but im afraid to lose me in your arms' i thought to myself

"You okay sweetheart?" I look at her and i let go of her hand "It's uhm nothing..." i say with a smile a bitter sweet one though

Her eyes widen and she nods going back to her work making me sigh and listen to the teacher once again

After class we walk out of the room me and Haerin both have different classes for now... so meaning i have time to focus on my studies rather than my crazy thoughts about my life right now

Before i could say goodbye i turn around and she hugs me "Danielle... did i do something wrong?" She asks her head on my chest while hugging me, i look up to the ceiling and sigh before pulling her to an empty classroom

"Look kitty i was just in ah.... you know lost in my thoughts yeah" she looks at me frowning.... she's so adorable

"Lies sweetheart" she huffs and crosses her arms pouting "Tell me whats wrong sweetheart" she says staring at me with her arms crossed

"I ah- OH YEAH WE ARE BOTH GONNA BE UHM LATE FOR CLASS WE SHOULD G-" she grabs my arm glaring at me "Danie-" "Haerin and Danielle why are you here?!" A teacher asks us yelling we bowed and left the classroom

"As i was saying Danielle what-" i ran away before she could finish her sentence, i felt her gaze as i left i walked in to my classroom almost late i sat down and look at my seat mate

It was a mysterious girl sleeping, i tap her shoulder and she wakes up looking at me "W-what the.." i realize what i just did "S-sorry the teacher is here so i thought of waking you up" i said with a smile her cheek turn red and she bows

"Thanks... uhm?" My eyes widen "Ah sorry I didn't introduce myself, im Danielle Marsh" she hands out a hand and smiles "I'm Nakamura Kazuha, Nice to meet you Danielle" i take her hand and shake it

After introducing ourselves to each other i quickly went back to listen to the teacher but i could feel kazuha stare at me i was embarrassed

I look at her making her look away, hmm weird i went back once again to listen to the teacher and ignored kazuha's stare

After class is finally lunch time i need to talk with Hanni, SHE HAS BEEN BUSY WITH HER STUDIES AND MINJI AND LITERALLY NOT SPEAKING TO ME!

I sigh and Kazuha notices "Everything okay Danielle?" She asks glancing at me i nod "Yeah just having weird thoughts as alway" she nods "I see"

After class I immediately walked out of the classroom and felt a hand grabbing my arm it was Kazuha "Could i at least have your number" she says smiling, i giggle and nod "yeah yeah, sorry about that here" i give her my number and she smiles waving at me

I walk to the cafeteria and see Hanni in the distance, i run to her before jumping and hugging her like a koala

"DANIELLE!!! YOU ALMOST MADE ME DROP MY IPAD!" She yell making me get off her and pout "Well is it my fault my own best friend has been ignoring me" i say scoffing at her

She frowns and sighs "Sorry i was busy Dani" i smile at her "Atleast you had a valid reason" she smiles back and hugs me "Let's eat lunch together!"

She says with a big smile "What about Minji?" She thinks "Oh yeah she followed Haerin back to her house just 13 minutes ago" i look at her confused

"Why what happened?" She scratches her nape "I don't know we both saw her mad and annoyed the whole time she didn't even give us a single second to talk about you"

I sigh and walk to the cafeteria with her "It's just because I've been having thoughts about my relationship with Haerin" "Ohh you guys aren't together yet"

"GIRL I DONT HAVE THE GUTS TO CONFESS" she nods walking in the cafeteria "well your on your own dani, if it's about your love life i can't do anything about that.. I'll just support you no matter what, but i think confessing is a better way to do it you know" she says sitting down on a chair on an empty table

I sat down beside her groaning and banging my head on the table "Eat lunch" i look at her pouting "I'd rather starve from drowning in my thoughts"

She rolls her eyes and eats her food while taking notes "You've been studying a lot lately" she hums taking a bite of her kimchi

"I got a A- on my history class which sucks so i need to study more.." i sigh bang my head on the table again "Wowww so amazing meanwhile ME WHO LITERALLY ALWAYS GET B OR A ONLY" she shrugs "HANNI I DONT EVEN STUDY!!"

"Its luck or i dont know" she says smacking my head "Does that mean im smart?" She shrugs as i bang my head on the table again

I feel a presence behind me making me look back "Hey Danielle why aren't you eating?" She asks sitting down beside me while Hanni was glaring at her

"Ah im just not in the mood don't worry kazuha" Hanni clears her throat making both of us look at her "Oh yeah Kazuha, meet my best friend Hanni" she bows while Hanni was glaring at her i nudge her shoulder making her sigh

"Hi Hanni, im kazuha" she nods "Hello there if you already now me please leave" i hit her shoulder

"Hanni what's with the attitude?" I ask whispering "I don't like her Danielle" she whispers glaring at her with daggers

I sigh "sorry about that Kazuha my friend HERE is in a bad mood too" i say with a sarcastic tone she nods

I take out my lunch box and start to eat my food, as i ate i could feel Kazuha staring at me AGAIN its actually making me uncomfortable i glance at hanni who's literally on the verge of punching kazuha

She glares at kazuha as Kazuha stares at me i finish my food closing my eyes 'what is with this tension'

I sigh before hearing someone from behind us "Hey guys what's up?" We look up at the one who spoke "Minji!!" Hanni says smiling "Hey Pham Hanni" they both hug each other as Minji glances at me and kazuha

She pulls away from kazuha "Oh kazuha" "Long time no see Minji" she says smiling, Hanni glared at Kazuha again but this time with a hint of jealously

"Minji if your here than meaning Haeri" i got cut off by a familiar voice
"What's up guys" She walks up to us and glanced at kazuha who's very close to me

She send a glare giving all of us goosebumps "Oh? Who might you be hmm?" She ask looking at her up and down before glaring at both of us

"Danielle let's talk shall we?" She says with a bittersweet smile and glares at Kazuha once again

I gulped and stood up as i followed Haerin, Hanni tapped my shoulder
"Good luck Dani, your girlfriend's in a bad mood" she says sighing "be careful Danielle she is not who she is right now" Minji say scratching her nape i nod and before i could talk to them and thank them

"Danielle!" Haerin yells making me flinch and wave at the three of them

"Your in big trouble Dani"
