Chapter 7 | Trauma & Fear

WARNING!! ⚠️ GORE UP AHEAD/ TRAUMA

HAERIN'S POV:

"Sweetie hurry up, we need to get ready to go out to dinner with Uncle Jaehyun" I nod and get ready squealing with excitement, i walked to the car and plopped down on the chair, my parents were sitting on the front

"Are you excited sweetie?" My mom asks making me jump up and down on my chair "Yes i am!!!" I say before buckling my seat belt

We drove for a couple of minutes and i was staring at the window i heard my parents arguing at the front "Cause of your sickness darling were losing money!" "Do you only care about money and not your family?!" I hated when they argue I couldn't get what they were talking about

As i closed my eyes and covered my ear i felt bright lights in front of my closed eyes as i open both my eyes it was moving towards our car with a? Beeping sound?...

"JAY LOOK OUT!!" My mom yells before my dad could react my visions went blurry and dark and my head hurts...

I hear something burning in my surroundings and screams I covered my ears and opened me eyes slightly, i saw my mom lying on the ground her body bleeding, my head was bleeding and I didn't know what to do i was scared

"M-mommy... im s-scared wake up mommy...." My mom didn't respond nor move i looked over to my side and it was my dad trying to take out a metal bar out if his leg and stomach

I could feel tears falling down on my cheek "D-daddy.." he looked at me "S-sweetie dont..... don't worry help is.. on the way, o-okay?" He says panting and coughing

He looked at mom frowning and to the car thats ticking his eyes widen "Sw-sweetie get out of here...." he says coughing and blood coming out of his mouth  

"I-im not gonna leave you and m-mommy!" I say sitting up slowly, my head hurts "Haerin sweetie, l-listen to me... you need to get out of h-here.." tears kept on falling on my cheeks and i stood up with my hand on my bleeding head "W-what about you and m-mommy?" I say clenching my fists and sobbing "Haerin... m-me and mommy will be b-back okay? Just run as far as you can... will y-you please?" He says before coughing blood again, i nod crying

"Haerin... dont forget us okay?" He says tears falling down on his cheek "I love you my sunshine" he says before closing his eyes looking pale "I love you too daddy" I ran away clenching the pain of my head 'it hurts, everything hurts'

I sat on the floor crying, i heard a big explosion on where the crash was, i sat on the floor crying and clenching the pain on my whole body... i hear an ambulance in the distance and it stopped in front of me

They carried me inside the ambulance before my mind and my eyes closed.
"Haerin..." i heard a familiar voice in my head "HAERIN!!"

Someone jumps on my stomach, i sit up panting and my hand grabbing my head "Your awake Haerin... why are you.... did your trauma come back in your dreams again?" Minji says worried "Get off me" i say lowering my hand away from my head "Answer the question will you.." She says with a cold tone

"I did yeah... i had the dream again..."
"Why??? Haven't you stopped dreaming of that ever since school started" she looks at me worriedly i just sighed "I'm just scared losing someone again... especially-" "Danielle?" She asks getting off me, i nodded and stood up to drink water she sighs and grabs my bag and hers "Go get ready ill wait for you in the car" I nod looking at the time "Minji isn't it still a bit early?" She looks at me glaring

"What the hell do you mean we are literally 24 minutes LATE!" She yell making me groan "okay, okay" she sighs and gets out if my house with both our bags

After fixing myself and ready i walked to the car and sat down on the back
"Drive properly Minji" "Okay mom" she says starting the engine after a couple of minutes we arrived at school, we walked in and both of us were greeted by many students

'Haerin im glad your ok' 'Haerin, Minji you both look hot today' blah blah blah
Me and Minji walked to our classroom
"Late again Ms.Kim and Ms.Kang" he says not even looking at us, is he a magician or what how does he know

"Sit down please" we sat down and focused on our studies, after class a girl walked towards me "Haerin" she calls me with a letter in her hand "Sorry but i dont like yo-" "It's not for you dumbass , im asking if you could pass it to uhm.. Danielle because you guys are close"
She says blushing, i felt my anger come in

I just sighed and took it... she doesn't even like me anyway or does she? Well i kissed her and she kissed me back so mean- "Haerin?" I nodded "Yeah ill give it to her" She smiles and walks away saying "Thanks" "what a rude girl right Minj-" i look back at me and Minji was no where to be found, i walk to our table with a note

'Going to eat lunch with my girlfriend, so just eat with yours! ;)" i blushed and crumpled the paper "stupid Minji" i walk out of our classroom and it was awfully quiet oh yeah Sunghoon's gone

I went to the cafeteria and it was FULL I SWEAR- i see Danielle with Yunjin, Hyein, Eunchae eating, Danielle notices me and smiled waving frantically making me chuckle i walked up to them and sat down beside Danielle "Unniee!!! Good timing here" she gives me a banana milk making me squeal in excitement they laugh at me

Danielle pouted "I should've bought you one first" she says making the four of us look at her "Jealous Danielle unnie?" Hyein asks smirking "Shut up Hyein" she says, i pat her back and took a sip of my banana milk "it's fine but i would be glad if you did someday" i smile at her my cheek slightly red

"Oh, btw Haerin minji unnie told me you had the drea-" i shut her mouth fake coughing and taking a sip of my banana milk again

"Ah sorry" Hyein mumbles Danielle looked at us confused "I just had bad dreams don't worry Sweetheart" i said reassuring her "Yah! whats with the names" Yunjin looks at us smirking

Danielle smacks her "What do you call Chaewon then?" She hums "Darling, love, honey, baby cakes, my gurl-" "Okay that's too much" I say making the others laugh

"Oh yeah Danielle here" i pull out the letter and Danielle's face turned red "Uh its from my classmate in biology class" i said reassuring her, her blush and her looks turn into a frown and a glare she grabs the letter and groans

"Ill open it later" Danielle says coldly "We're you expecting it from someone else's unnie?" Eunchae says grinning
"I was but forget it" she says bluntly

The bell rings and my classroom was far away so i needed to go fast "I need to go now" i say before shooting my empty banana milk in the trash can making many people applaud

I looked at my friends and waved bye, i kissed Danielle's palm and covering the view so no one would see it except my friends, Danielle blushes and waves bye i waved back winking and running back to my classroom

God your so beautiful Danielle.... i never want to lose somebody like you,
I love you Danielle but im too scared to admit it
