As soon as he took Seung Tak's hand, Seung-won was suddenly lying on the floor looking up from Seung Tak's perspective. He got up, looking at himself. It was that simple? Just one slight touch? He was in Seung Tak's body, but it needed to get treatment. Seung-won felt it tremble as he got up. He held Seung Tak's body up, leaning against the wall and bathroom counter as he struggled to make it to the bathroom door. With as much strength as he could, he yelled for his mother, "Mother! MOM!"
The second shout shook his soul inside of Seung Tak's body. It practically ripped their souls back into two. The shift caused Seung-won to drop to his knees. As he sat on the bathroom floor, resting Seung Tak's body against the wall, he weakly called out once more, "Mom?"
Seung-won's mother appeared in the doorway in a panic. She was hearing Seung Tak's voice but they both knew his mother wasn't home. Sung-hye remained in the doorway, looking down at Seung Tak. She wasn't sure if her son had the ability to hurt Seung Tak. All she could see was her nephew lying on the floor appearing incredibly unwell.
"Seung Tak?" She glared suspiciously at him.
"No. It's me. It's me, Mom." He was weak and breathless. "You have to get Seung Tak to the hospital."
Sung-hye bent down to her son, "To the hospital?" She couldn't grasp what was happening. Seung-won was telling her to get Seung Tak to the hospital but he was possessing her nephew's body. She didn't understand why her son was lying in the floor in Seung Tak a body. Sung-hye didn't want to ask her son. Did you hurt Seung Tak? Did you... and then changed your mind? She was suddenly scared of losing her son all over again. Seung Tak was the only connection she had to her son.
"What happened—What did you..." She stopped. She wouldn't incriminate her son any further. She wouldn't make him guilty, potentially of another crime.
"I need his body, Mom. He's sick with something. I need him to be well."
The fear eased as she took her cell phone out of her pocket hearing her son's words. Her hands shook while they dialed 119. Seung-won gave her further instructions, "But mom when they bring him in, they need to take him to the private ER into the VIP wing. They can't bring him into the front."
Sung-hye nodded as she cried for an ambulance to hurry to the residence. When she hung up, Seung-won continued, "Be sure that only Dr. Jang and Chief Bahn treat Seung Tak. Make sure they aren't permitted to breathe a word about his condition to anyone else. No one else can see him." Seung-won's soul broke out of Seung Tak and went back in.
Sung-hye watched as Seung Tak's body appeared electrified. "Seung-won! My SEUNG-WON?"
It left Seung-won breathless once again. He forced one last sentence, "I can't get caught. You can't let anyone know I'm near him."
Seung-won's mother nodded as Seung Tak's soul pushed his cousin out. His body became lifeless. Seung-won attempted to hold Seung Tak's hand again. He tried to touch his cousin again and again, but his hand went right through him. "No! No. Seung Tak?"
Su-jeong had just left surgery and entered the ER to continue her shift. She stood amongst interns and her colleagues as she checked her phone for any messages. Seung Tak hadn't replied to her last message. She'd asked if he were okay. That was it. She didn't have the heart to tell him she was covering for him. Her mind wandered as she half-listened to Dr. Lee Sun-ho praise her skills he'd just witnessed in the operating room with the rest of the interns and teased her with a couple of flirtatious notions--
"I didn't know you had hands like that, Doctor? For such powerful hands they are quite dainty." He leaned over the counter and positioned his head to get a look at her face. "Everything okay?"
