Hello everybody! So for those of you that have read this, it's probably very weird that I just started writing again. And don't worry it is for me as well. To be honest I found this while at a theater camp because we were performing " The World Will Know" and this girl wanted to talk about our OC's. So I read this and decided that it was actually (KINDA) good. So the last chapter was just on impulse and more of a closing on the last moments of that part of her life. So this chapter is gonna be here like 2 or so years later.

"Paper, paper! Get your paper!" Me and Lucky shouted at the top of our lungs. Today we are selling right outside of a pub on the edge of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Me and Lucky made a bet on who would sell out first. Lucky stood more on the Brooklyn side and me on Manhattan. Recently we've been playing this game a lot, now that it's summer again.

"Ey Birdie" Lucky called from across the street.

"What do ya want, traitor?" I giggled.

"Well, I just think it would only be fair if I gave you a head start so come over here and gimme some of those papes" he winked at me.

Wow.

A lot has changed since I met Lucky. And I mean A LOT. For example, he is no longer scrawny and short, now he's tall and broad and muscular and... I could go on forever.

I shook off my previous thoughts.

"Eh, say what about we make a deal?" I answered

"Ok?"

"If I sell all my papes you need to pay for mine tomorrow" He laughed and nodded.

"Deal" we air-shook hands.

We both smiled at each other. If only he liked me the same way. But no. He likes someone else.

For the past month Lucky has had a girlfriend. Her name is Lucinda Berk. She is an ugly, short, skinny slummer.

Oh who am I kidding?

She's beautiful, tall, thin and always polite and clean. Nothing, like me at all. On the contrary I am short, have bulky shoulders, long skinny legs and I always have a snarky remark on hand.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy Lucky has finally found someone, But I only with that someone was me.

No.

Lucky is one of the only people I care about, and I cant let some gorgeous and rich girl change that.

So I buried the thought deep, like the other thoughts of love I had and sold my papes.

A FEW HOURS LATER

"I knew I would win!" I skipped ahead of Lucky.

"That's not fair! you took your hair down mid sell," he crossed his arms "You know they all like it when they do that."

I stopped.

"Do you?" I stared at him dead in the eyes. Please say yes I begged silently.

"I-"

"Lucky!"

Shit.

"Lucy!"

He hugged her and spun her around.

"I didn't know school would end early today,"

"Yeah, it's a conference day."

I sighed and began walking away. No need to put myself through this.

"Hey, wait!"

Lucinda grabbed my shoulder, turning me around.

"Can I talk to you for a second?"

Well that took me by surprise.

"Uh sure," I relaxed my posture and crossed my arms, waiting.

"Um," she looked at Lucky "Alone?"

He looked just as surprised as I had.

"Go ahead"

he nodded and Lucinda led me into the nearest alley-way.

"Ok, what do you want?" I leaned up against the wall.

"stay away from Lucky"

what did she just say?

"What?"
