STELLA AND LIZZIE had set their alarms for 6:30 that morning, hoping that would give them plenty of time to prepare themselves for the day ahead. Swapping makeup products and doing each other's hair, they spent the time bonding and preparing for their first day at college. The two girls had left their dorm that morning at coincidentally the same time their neighbours did, leading the quartet to walk each other out of the dorm block and towards their dedicated lessons. Chris and Stella heading off in one direction and Lizzie and Dalton in the other.
Chris and Stella soon realised they actually had a lot in common, including their love for music and their hate for teenage boys. They chatted and gossiped all the way to their respective classrooms until they split off once more to get to their lessons. Stella walked into her class and chose a seat at the far back, having no interest in making new friends now that she'd found the ones she needed. The class soon began and Stella soon fell back into her academic pattern of knowing all the content before it had even left the teacher's mouth, allowing her to leave the lesson feeling pretty proud of herself.
As she walked down the hall she looked up to see a familiar head of brown hair walking slightly to the left in front of her. "Hey Dalton!" She called out, grabbing the boys attention. He whipped round as if he'd just been ripped from a day dream and sighed in relief to see the slightly smaller brunette girl he'd met the day prior. "Oh, hey Stella" he smiled at her, slowing down a bit in order to let her catch up. "How was class?" He asked the girl beside him. "It was good! I forget how much I love learning over the summer" She replied before enquiring about his day. His reply was short but unconvincing as he nodded a quick 'alright' to the girl, opening the door for her to head up towards the dorm and following after her.
Neither one of the teens are really sure what else to say as they wander back up to the dorm so they walk in comfortable silence. A loud 'Hey!' Comes from behind the two as two sets of footsteps follow after them. Chris and Lizzie had caught up with the two and Chris decided to propose an idea "Hey how do you guys feel about a frat party?" Stella throws a skeptical look at Dalton as he returns a similar look, neither two thrilled over the idea. After a lot of persuasion the reluctant two are dragged back to their dorms in hopes of getting ready for the so called 'frat party'.
Lizzie had adorned a black dress with a few cut outs, it fit her perfectly and exaggerated all her gorgeous curves. Stella however went slightly more reserved with a pair of straight legged jeans and a green shirt tucked into a thick belt. The girls headed out of their dorm and knocked on the door or Dalton and Chris who emerged ready for the party. Chris and Lizzy began chatting and walking ahead, leaving Dalton and Stella at the back once again.
"Hey.." Dalton started, looking at the girl beside him, he'd not realised how beautiful she was until now and he wasn't quite sure what to do about it. She threw him a quick smile before climbing in the front seat of her car and driving the quartet to the party.
It was evident to the quartet that they did not fit in as they pulled into the driveway of the house, drunk teenagers spilling out of every door and neon lights hanging from every window, tree or doorway. The four climbed out of the car, apprehensive to approach the house. As they walked up the drive way a tall boy approached, holding what looked like a tray of dirty diapers "May I offer you some diaper pudding?" The guy questioned, the group looked at each other, prompting someone to deny the boy as Lizzie stepped forward and slightly nudged the boy out of the way, rolling her eyes as she went and dragging Chris along with her. "Uh no, we're good" Dalton denied for himself and the girl next to him as they followed their roommates into the house, of course not before stopping for a group selfie as Chris pulled out her phone, pulling the two girls to her side as Dalton fell in line behind Stella and Lizzie, posing for a quick photo before finally entering the party.
The house itself of course, also packed with drunk teenagers, pulling and dancing around with each other. Many pairs lacing the outer walls of the room, kissing or making out, rendering the room Particularly difficult to navigate.
Lizzie had since grabbed a hold of Stella's hand, following Chris over to the table lined with all sorts of nuclear looking liquids, Stella making sure to latch herself onto Daltons forearm in order to not leave the boy behind. The group approached the table, the two darker haired girls pouring drinks for the rest. Stella was never much of a drinker, call her boring but it just never appealed to her, the idea of not being in full control of her actions whilst as a party full of idiotic boys? No way. She quickly denied a cup of 'Frat Juice' and passed it swiftly to the tall boy behind her, leading him to immediately question what a 'Frat Juice' was. "Don't ask." Chris replied so the two just assumed it was probably something they wanted no part in, placing the drink down onto the table.
Suddenly people around them began to chant "Nick the dick! Nick the dick!" All four of the confused students looked around for an answer as to what was going on before landing their eyes on who they assumed to be 'Nick the Dick' standing upon the stairs, holding a megaphone.
"Welcome to the Kappa House and welcome back to school, baby" Nick began.. "I'm just here to remind you folks that frats, they're under attack. Right? And we must protect our right to party and to be awesome." Dalton rolled his eyes as many male students around the room began to cheer in support of the movement as if they were beginning some sort of frat protest, causing the three girls around him to chuckle at his distaste. "White, black, brown or blue, you're all welcome at JPU, provided that you recognise and respect that the frat house is the last house where men can still be men!" His voice growing in volume as he became more passionate about his cause, slamming his fists on his chests to emphasise his point.
The room stayed silent in confusion until one boy at the back decided to break the tension by clapping and hollering loudly as 'Nick the dick' continued to warn everybody of the 'accident' and that they cannot deal with another one.. whatever that means. The music began to rise again as the sweaty teenagers all turned back to their drinks and dancing.
"This party's lame" Dalton began complaining to Stella once again "confirmed" Chris cut in "So let's go upstairs and look through everyone's shit" she laughed, pulling Lizzie up the stairs with her, The two brunettes left to follow along behind once again, mumbling and complaining to each other.
"Sorry, why are they all dressed as babies?" Stella spoke properly for the first time since they'd arrived that evening. "Honestly, I have no idea" Dalton chuckled, allowing the girl to walk in-front of him slightly as they walked up the stairs, ensuring he had his eyes on her at all times, the last thing he needed was her getting lost or separated from the group.
