The Summer I'll Never Forget Chapter 8

Next Morning

You wake up before Sarah and check your phone.

You see it's 8:34 am. You decide to text JJ. Good morning ❤️. Is what you send him. He doesn't respond because he's most likely still asleep.

Sarah wakes up shortly after you.

"How long have you been up?" Sarah ask you.

"Not long." you tell her.

"What time is it?" she ask you sitting up with her back leaning against the head board.

"It's 8:40." you tell her.

"You smell that?" you ask her.

"Yeah. It smells good." Sarah says.

You guys walk downstairs to see Rose cooking breakfast.

"What smells so good?" Sarah ask her.

"Pancakes and bacon." Rose says.

"Sounds yummy." you tell Rose.

Rafe comes downstairs still half asleep. His hair is messy and he only has a pair of sweatpants on without a shirt.

"Mornin." I say to him.

"Mornin." he says in his morning voice.

"Uh Oh. Why did I just find his morning voice attractive." you think to yourself.

Rose hands everyone a plate. You all line up to feel up y'all's plate.

Sarah gets her food first, then you, then Rafe, then Wheezie, then lastly Ward.

You guys all make your way to the dining room.

You sit between Sarah and Wheezie, while Rafe sits across from you. Ward and Rose are at the ends of the table.

"So how'd you girls sleep?" Ward ask you and Sarah.

"Great." you tell him.

"That's good." Ward replys as he takes a sip of his coffee.

Everyone is just eating and talking.

You guys all finish.

"I'm stuffed." Wheezie says.

"Couldn't agree with you more. It was very good Rose. Thank you." I tell her.

"Thank you. You are now my favorite friend Sarah has." Rose says.

You let out a small laugh. "Thank you." you tell her.

Everyone gets up and takes there plates to the sink.

You and Sarah walk back upstairs.

"What do you wanna do today?" you ask Sarah.

"We could go shopping? My favorite store is having a sale today." Sarah tells you.

"Okay great, that sounds fun." you tell her.

"We should get ready. It's already 10." Sarah says.

"Yeah." you say and you guys start getting ready.
